Amazing experience from start to finish!
The quality of the meats is outstanding — perfectly cooked, flavorful, and always served fresh. The salad bar is always fresh, well organized, and offers a great variety.
The bar truly stands out. The cocktails are exceptionally well crafted, balanced, and consistently delicious. They also offer happy hour every day from 3 PM to 7 PM, which makes it a great spot to relax and enjoy amazing drinks. Desserts is also amazing!
Highly recommend for both dinner and drinks!

This is one of those places that makes you want to come back before you even leave! The quality of the meat is outstanding, with the ribeye becoming my favorite. But for me what truly sets this place apart is the service. From the moment you arrive, you feel welcomed, cared for, and part of the experience.
My favorite? Grilled pineapple! It’s perfectly caramelized! Highly recommend.

We have discovered another steakhouse that we intend to return to. Initially, we were particularly impressed by the friendliness of the staff. Our server, Gabriel, provided us with comprehensive information about the establishment, as it was our first visit. The customer service was exceptional. The ambiance was excellent. The food displayed at the center was impeccable, offering a wide variety of options. The meat was expertly seasoned. We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of this establishment. We will undoubtedly return and make it our preferred destination for special occasions.

Outstanding experience at Sabor Gaúcho! The food was absolutely delicious — perfectly seasoned meats, cooked to perfection, and a great variety throughout the meal. The service was just as impressive: attentive, friendly, and professional from start to finish. You can truly feel the passion for quality and hospitality here. Highly recommended, and I’ll definitely be back!

I came expecting proper Brazilian churrasco — fresh meat grilled over charcoal with coarse salt — but what I got felt nothing like that. Every cut was over-marinated, oversalted, and tasted reheated. The picanha came in some spicy marinade (it should never be), the ribeye tasted like bouillon cubes, and the lamb was so salty I couldn’t finish one bite. It wasn’t grilled at all — it felt boiled, with zero char or smoke.

Most meats were dry and unevenly cooked, like they’d been sitting under heat lamps. Cuts were thick and heavy instead of thinly sliced from the skewer like real churrasco. Even the salt felt wrong — more like table salt or seasoning mix than proper sal grosso.

For $90 per person, this was a huge letdown. I left after 30 minutes, after tasting each type of meat, because I didn’t want to ruin the memory of what real churrasco is supposed to be — simple, smoky, and flavorful from the fire, not from spice and salt.

If you’ve ever had true churrasco in Brazil, this place will shock you. No charcoal aroma, no proper slicing, no care in preparation. Polite staff, but that’s the only positive thing I can say. Way overpriced and absolutely not worth it.

Wow the service couldn’t have been any better. Silva & Marcio were so good & welcoming best service I had in long time. The inside looks so nice compared to nicks tacos they did a really good job. The drinks were top notch and the salad bar was as well. I could just go there to eat at the salad bar which I will do next time. We all had the all you can eat and was an experience. I haven’t been into meat too much lately bc I’m an animal lover so that didn’t mix considering it’s a steak house. Their combinations were great. Cheese with honey and then grilled pineapple. I cook my meat different I do it on a grill and do it med rare and I’m picky bc I think I can outdo all restaurants so I won’t go there. Lamb chops were really good. Even the bread was good. A must try nice place even just for a drink you should check it out.

Extremely disappointing experience, easily the worst Brazilian steakhouse I’ve been to in San Francisco.

The meat selection was noticeably lacking compared to other Brazilian steakhouses nearby. Cuts were limited, came around infrequently, and overall just didn’t measure up to what you’d expect for the price.

Service was also poor. Table service was slow and inattentive, and we often had to flag someone down for basic things.
The biggest issue, though, was safety and cleanliness. Multiple people in our group got food poisoning after the meal, which alone would make this a place I’d never return to. To make matters worse, during dinner a worker hit a glass panel near us and it shattered, sending glass onto multiple people at our table and into our food. We were forced to immediately stand up and leave the table for the good part of 20 minutes.

Despite this major disruption, and the fact that our food was literally covered in glass, nothing was comped and there was no meaningful attempt to make things right.

I could never recommend this place to anyone. You’re far better off going to spots like Fogo de Chão, Gaucho Galpão, or Espetus Churrascaria, where the selection, service, food quality and overall experience are consistently better and safer. They will be the similar price for much better experiences.

Don’t waste your money or time here.

We had been excitedly waiting for this restaurant to open since we love Brazilian food. Until now, we have only tried Espetus in San Mateo and Fogo de Chao, so we were looking forward to having another option nearby.

The buffet here is not quite at the same level as the others. They do have sushi, which is a fun touch, but I found it strange that there were no small plates or dishes for soy sauce and wasabi. The cheese selection, while limited, had some good choices, but there was no bread or crackers to pair with them. Plain cheese on its own is fine, but a little accompaniment would have been nice.

Moving on to the meats, which is really what we came for. The chicken wings were well seasoned, and the filet mignon and picanha were both delicious. The bacon wrapped filet mignon, however, was disappointing as the bacon was undercooked. The rack of lamb did not have much flavor for me, but the beef and pork ribs were excellent. The brisket, which came toward the end, was incredibly smoky and flavorful. I only wish I had more room to enjoy it. The one cut I did not see come out the entire evening was the pork belly. Throughout dinner, the grilled pineapple made several rounds and I happily accepted every time. I love grilled pineapple, but at eighty dollars per person, I was not sure it was wise to fill up on it.

Midway through the meal, my husband asked for a glass of house wine. He enjoyed it, but we later discovered it cost thirty three dollars a glass. That was a surprise, as we assumed a “house wine” would be more modestly priced. To be fair, we should have asked to see the menu first, but it was unexpected that they would not clarify what house wine meant.

Service overall was very good. The staff was attentive and made sure to stop by whenever our card was turned to green. At times they felt a little aggressive. For example, the minute we sat down the waitress approached with bottles of sparkling and still water already in her hands while asking if we preferred sparkling, still, or tap. If I had not caught the word tap, I could have easily ended up with bottled water added to the bill. . I hope that was not an intentional upsell, as it gave me pause.

All in all, it was a solid first visit. While there are still some rough edges, the meats and attentive service stood out. With a bit more fine tuning, I can see this restaurant becoming a great option for Brazilian dining in the area.

If Gluttony is truly a sin, then Sabor Gaúcho Prime is probably why I didn’t get raptured today.

We showed up to our reservation a little before 6 pm. The place was empty. We were promptly seated and adjourned to the cold buffett. This is a nice spread of food. Salads, great cheese, sushi, salmon, and a nice array of finger foods.

Once back at the table we flip the marker over and the mayhem began. Meat was flying at us so fast I thought I was Joey Chestnut.

Filet mignon, rib eye, all very well cooked in your favorite temperature. My favorite was the Filet wrapped bacon and just about every other red meat. My colon paid the price for Sabor’s excellence.

Real standouts included the spicy shrimp, the cheese with honey and the pineapple coated in cinnamon.

The meal is unrushed but we flipped our cards from red to green several times to keep up with the onslaught of glorious meat. Not complaining. Just a warning. The food will come at you faster than a bear that smells … uh food.

We finished up with a very good creme brulee and NY Cheesecake.

This place ain’t cheap. That said, you get what you pay for. I was very pleased with the food and buffett. It’s a nice place for date night or special occasions and certainly worth its value.

Wonderful location easy access to the Bay and downtown. Inside well lit but relaxing, plenty of seating but not crowded.

Customer service 5star as everyone saying hello as you walk in and to your table along with amazing service while dining. Everyone including our amazing Server asking how we are and if we needed anything. Everyone attentive to your needs and quick with their response.

Steak wrapped in bacon and pork with cheese parmagan is amazing along with many of their other selections. The bar is stacked with options and I enjoyed the selection of stews/soups I enjoyed the beef stroganoff.

Again our server I wish I caught his name absolutely amazing, far better service than our experience at Fogo de Chao! I highly recommend trying this location, they also serve brunch on Sundays!
