This was our first visit . The food was great! I had the carnival plate and my husband had the chicken street tacos. They offered good portions. Free chips and salsa. They had a Mother’s Day special for $19.99 of double fajitas and two drinks. Oh their guacamole was really good. Wish I would have ordered a large

Food was good.
But Mr manager.
All was cold
Got street tacos and enchiladas.
Need to make sure the waitresses are NOT lollygaggin behind the scenes and letting the food get colder under the heat lamps.
Just sayin.

Waitress was very rude, even slammed a glass of hot water down on the table in front of me and that’s after telling me it’s over 200 degrees. There was 6 of us and only one person was satisfied with her food but it was nachos so it was smothered in cheese. The rest of us, the meat was very dry, beans were so dry they looked as if they had sat in the oven for hours. One order rice with no bell pepper there was bell peppers and all the waitress did was pick them out. Overall I they don’t even deserve a one star but that’s just my opinion.

Food was good my only problem is that the Dinner Meal was survived on a Lunch Special Plater which is smaller and the portions were very poor. There was not enough Cheese sauce for my meal. Prices are slightly up from Ash Flat Mexican Restaurant and portions and larger there for less. Hope they re-think their portions sizes and services

My husband and I have been there 2 times both times during the week [last time was Monday, June 03) and each time it took FOREVER to get our food because there was only 1 cook and 1 server so by the time our food got to us parts of it was cold. We can understand it being slow when they are crowded but with only 3 or 4 tables and less then a dozen people there waiting? I was watching and the food was only coming out 1 plate at a time because I’m guessing whomever was cooking didn’t know how to multi-task..
We’ve decided we’re just going to go to Ash Flat to El Palenque or
El Chico when we’re in Mtn. Home.
We like to shop local but not eating here again. Sorry

Was hoping it would at least compare to the restaurant that used to be here and it definitely achieved that and then some. food is excellent! Service was solid as well. The only thing I can pick out is that it’s a little pricey. But all in all, a location .
