People don’t order through grubhub. Order directly from the restaurant. Grubhub charge high on the merchants prices. I went in person and they treated me nice and attended me fast then grubhub. Food was delicious too. Worth going. I’m bringing my whole family there next time.

So compared to home cooked this doesn’t compare. The flavors were not right and the food was salty. Also, the food was kind of sweet like they tried to compensate for a missing ingredient. Very expensive for what you get in addition to a cc fee. I received 2 pieces of chicken. A tiny one and a very large hormone pumped leg. I won’t be back.

This place can be very busy with orders, so you’ll have to wait a minute to eat if you’re eating in, but it is 100% worth the wait. I have tried this place for breakfast lunch and dinner. Today my wife and I had lunch. My father passed away last year and he used to make the beef stew the exact same way. It is how you say, magnifique! Last year in fall I had the steak and it was perfect with the herbs and the mofongo was heavy for me but a great way to experience the culture. For dessert at spanish places I usually get maduros(sweet plantain) and horchata. My compliments to the chef. 11 out of 10 would highly recommend eating here.

The food was good, however the time to get service was extremely long. After being seated, it was 25 minutes before a waitress even asked if we wanted water. It would have been longer had I not got tired of waiting and went over to the counter to enquire. I could of easily given them a rating of at least 4 stars, BUT the amount of time for a simple acknowledgement that we were there or a simple apology. Unfortunately, none of that happened. Lack of good/quality service can kill a restaurant… Despite good food and atmosphere.

Ordered to go, received the wrong order. Asked for cheese empanadas, and asked to make sure they were vegetarian. They did not call because of any confusion, but instead swapped them for the vegetable empanadas. I’m sad I lost $18 to this place.

I stopped by this restaurant during my lunch break, but unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The setup seemed straightforward order at the hot bar but as soon as I walked in, I noticed something off.
There were about four staff members behind the counter, yet no one greeted me. I waited patiently, thinking they might just be busy, and even tried making eye contact a few times. Still, no acknowledgment. After standing there for nearly 10 minutes, one woman finally looked over and said she’d be with me shortly because she was placing an order. Even then, her tone wasn’t friendly or welcoming, and she never actually greeted me.
At that point, I didn’t feel valued as a customer and decided to leave without ordering. I hope this was just a one-off experience, but it definitely left a bad impression.

We have been wanting to come but Sundays place is closed. Finally got to go and we decided to eat there. It is clean and layback. The place was not packed but busy for takeout. Our family had little bit of all. Rice, chicken, pork chops, beans, bistec, tostones, mofongo with cheese and to finish with Flan and tres Leche. Oh forgot to mention morir sonando. Food was on point. Can’t wait to visit again. Owners are Dominican. Que viva la Republica Dominicana.

Our first time visiting this Dominican restaurant in Jamesburg. It will not be our last. The food was absolutely delicious. Very similar to Puerto Rican food which we love. The dishes were cooked perfectly and were filled with such amazing flavor. Can’t wait to eat the leftovers later today. The restaurant is quite unique. They have an area that serves pre-prepared food for takeout with a large sitting area if you decide to eat there. They also have a full-on menu if you plan on dining there with lots of great choices. The atmosphere and the dining area is nothing special. But you’re not going there for the aviance. You’re going there for incredible food. They do have a separate room that looks like for special events. Very fancy. Fine dining looking. Not sure the purpose of that room but it looked very nice. The staff was friendly. It helps if you know Spanish as, I’m not sure she spoke English. The food came out very quickly and again I can’t say how much we enjoyed it. I will certainly be back again and again and again.
