Our first time visiting this Dominican restaurant in Jamesburg. It will not be our last. The food was absolutely delicious. Very similar to Puerto Rican food which we love. The dishes were cooked perfectly and were filled with such amazing flavor. Can’t wait to eat the leftovers later today. The restaurant is quite unique. They have an area that serves pre-prepared food for takeout with a large sitting area if you decide to eat there. They also have a full-on menu if you plan on dining there with lots of great choices. The atmosphere and the dining area is nothing special. But you’re not going there for the aviance. You’re going there for incredible food. They do have a separate room that looks like for special events. Very fancy. Fine dining looking. Not sure the purpose of that room but it looked very nice. The staff was friendly. It helps if you know Spanish as, I’m not sure she spoke English. The food came out very quickly and again I can’t say how much we enjoyed it. I will certainly be back again and again and again.

I heard about the place from co-workers wanted to give them a try but they do not care about new clientele. I sent in for a lunch meaning a want my meal combined on one plate not separated and she was unwilling to do it because the time was 3:18pm. Even though there’s no cut off time displayed anywhere in the restaurant or online on their website. Lady at the counter told me a whole order or nothing after letting her know it was just for one person. She was unable to accommodate me at all and did not service me. Place is completely empty.

I ABSOLUTELY recommend this restaurant! I Googled ‘Dominican Restaurants near me’ since we were traveling from Virginia to Upstate New York and this restaurant popped up. It’s in New Jersey right off exit 8A in a very nice looking neighborhood.

Ok I don’t like to give anyone 1 start but I have to and it’s going to the server otherwise they would get nothing. The food looks pretty but the taste was horrible. Had to put a ton of hot sauce in the meat just to taste something and the chicken patties were the worts I ever had, tasted like cardboard.

I absolutely recommend this restaurant. My mom and I have ordered two times and the food is delicious and authentic. Last night we had an incident where an Uber driver took our food and cancelled the order but the woman I spoke with remade our WHOLE entire order after the kitchen was closed and cleaned up and allowed us to pick it up. This woman was so sweet and professional and went above and beyond with helping us when she could’ve denied. I’m so grateful that she was so sweet and understanding and helpful. Needless to say they go above and beyond for their customers and treat them very well while also providing delicious food. If you’re thinking about getting food from this place definitely do the customer service is out of this world and the food is too!

I stopped by in the evening to get some take out for dinner and ordered the Mofongo de Pollo, rice and beans, and beef empanadas. Everything was freshly fried and delicious! Could use some more seasoning to bring out the plantains in the mofongo, but otherwise fresh ingredients, fragrant rice, and crispy empanadas accompanied by a nice spicy mayonnaise on the side. Will definitely be a returning customer!
