I had not a too good experience at this Brazilian restaurant. Once I asked the server cook to cut off a part of a chicken he just ignored my request dropping the food in my plate. The other day I found the food really cold which is not good and not healthy. But the worst happened on Saturday Feb. 28. I got really sick with nausea and diarrhea I guess due to the cold food. The atmosphere is not the best. The place is too small and people seem to be on top of the food. The price is too high compare to other places. I know I’m Brazilian but the restaurant should be better. I don’t have to get sick just for going to dine in or take home.

In the Alston, Brighton, Brookline, and Newton area, there’s no better restaurant than Sabor do Brasil. The food is always well-seasoned, and the quality of the grilled meats is excellent. I’m happy to have discovered this restaurant.

A simple yet welcoming Brazilian restaurant. The food is fresh and delicious. The combination of rice, beans, salad, and two choices of meat offers incredible value for such rich and flavorful cuisine. Highly recommended!

Amazing food and fresh cut steaks, lamb and quality is really fogo de chao without the ambience. They even gave me a discount as it was my first time trying, will go back with friends again

It’s nothing fancy, but it’s also much cheaper than another Brazilian steakhouse. They have great Brazilian BBQ and salad bar!

My new favorite place! I love their food so much. Selection of meat is great. Don’t expect fancy food and service here, it’s just a simple homely place that you can go to and know you won’t be disappointed. Great if you want something easy and safe and not expensive.

Lunch buffets are hard to find. But the ability to self serve however much food one wants to eat is pretty cool. It’s even better at Sabor DO Brasil, which has such beautiful smells coming from it’s two island buffet serving stations.
While the building may seem small, with some basic chairs/tables to eat, you should see the amount of hard work that goes behind the walls. A big team puts out buckets of food, with some special meat selection served by a staff member behind the cashier’s space.
Start at the line near the front entrance, scout out the food you want. Know that there are three different rates for price per pound of food depending on the volume of meat that is on your plate. When you see the food you want, and know the price, then get the to-go plates/cartons and fill ‘er up.
Then, you go to the cashier and let them judge your food rate, get the food measured, and boom, there is your delicious foodery.

Best Brazilian food in Allston! Always get the barbecue, I got the steak, sausage and chicken heart, they were so worth it! If I had to be nitpicky, the only minor flaw would be its limited space, it’s not a place for large gatherings there, but the boss is very friendly and welcoming!
