I love tacos. Have had almost every taco de carne asada in Gaithersburg but not sure how I miss this place. Decent size tortilla, carne cooked perfect enough portion, even the lime size. Can’t go wrong with tacos even for breakfast.

If you are hungry and in the area try out the torta a la cubana it’s the one at the top of the photo it’s massive and definitely worth it. Also recommend the pamabaso keep in mind the chorizo is pork so if that’s not your cup of tea I recommend the hibiscus flower ice tea great to cut through the grease and clean your palate .

This is a small restaurant, only 5 tables. You order from the front counter and will be eating with plastic utensils, but… if those things don’t bother you, you will be very happy with the food. I highly recommend the Enchiladas Verde.

From the delicious food to the family like service, it’s like the warmth of a home cooked meal. The desserts are amazing too, the gelatin flowers are literally edible artwork. The TV is a big bonus too. It’s prices are just the icing on the cake, trust me your wallet and stomach will be thanking you after you finished eating.

SoCal native here, and the food at Sabor Azteca is DELICIOUS! Their tortas are hella bomb. Their sopes are the perfect ratio of frijoles to carne and tortilla. And last, but not least, their pozole is the perfect dish for a rainy day or a morning-after hangover. 100% highly recommend.

I just discovered this gem today. The food is wonderful! I ordered 3 different dishes chicken enchiladas, chicken tostada and chorizo. I loved the tostada and was surprised how big it was! I imagined a small appetizer, but it wasn’t. 2 or 3 would give you a full meal. The enchilada was good. It was a great balance, flavorful and not heavy. Rice was good alone and beans were seasoned, not salty. Honestly I got so greedy I couldn’t get to the chorizo. Im certain based on the rest of the meal it will be good.

I’ve had quite a bit of tacos in upper Moco, and these are the best. The meat is very well-seasoned. I thought the chorizo tacos in particular were very tasty. Seriously- go here.

I ordered a torta lateish tuesday night after finishing up some volunteer work nearby, and was hangry. They made my order pretty quickly, were courteous when I came in to pay and was slightly disoriented. The torta was the size of my head and delicious, if I hadn’t eaten all day I could have made it stretch two meals. I wish there was more filling though, it was a 2/3 bread ratio to 1/3 filling/sandwhich fixings. Be warned that google maps takes you into an empty back lot of different businesses near Sabor Azteca. I have bad night vision and it was frustrating that it took a few minutes finding the right location. No fault on the restaurants part, and it was worth having a good quality meal at almost 9pm at night.
