I eat at restaurants all over South Mississippi and Louisiana. I enjoy a pulled pork sandwich so I go to a lot of BBQ places.
This place was recommended after a buddy on Facebook saw my less than stellar experience at another place and it did not disappoint.
I like a little Cole slaw topper on my pulled pork sandwich. Most places act like your gonna put them out of business with a little topper and barely put anything on it.. Not this place. I bet I had a whole side order of slaw as a topper.
Sandwich was delicious. Baked Beans weren’t anything special but they were tasty. The fries okra has great flavor but was a little over cooked. Still great, just could’ve pulled them out the oil a minute sooner and been perfect.
Ladies up front were very friendly. I’ll definitely be back. Next time I’m gonna try the brisket. If it’s as good as the sandwich I ate today, this will officially be my second favorite bbq place.

Baybay… lemme tell ya! The place was off the beaten path. However, it was definitely worth it! The lady at the dark was very nice and informative. The service was quick and the food was WOW! The green beans were good, okra good and the ribbons weee bangin!!!! I enjoyed every single bite and I plan on making this place a regular stop of mine!

I’ve been coming here over a year and the food and customer service is very nice. But, I went and purchased my usual ground mullet plate and was told that the price went up which I was fine with until I found out that the plate only consisted of one piece of fish when it was two priced at $18! I paid 21.40 for my plate and didn’t even get my change and only got one piece of fish this is ridiculously expensive. This plate was NOT worth it and I won’t be eating here again.

The customer service was the best I’ve had in a long time and I’ve been a restaurant owner and in the business for a long time. The brisket, ribs and sausage were excellent. I never finish my lunch but I did today. I don’t write reviews but when a business nails it, I have no choice but to let people know. Kudos to these good people I’m from Texas but every time I’m here in Gulfport this is the first place I’m coming to.

This place is so good. Award winning restaurant. Best barbecue place on the coast. Ribs so tender and falls off the bone. Macaroni and cheese so good and tasty. Coleslaw is heavenly. The staff is amazing and very friendly. Adam’s Ribs in Chicago can move over. Highly recommended. You will be satisfied with them.

The food here is amazing!!!! I got the catfish plate and added shrimp to it. The sides were macaroni and cheese and potato salad. It was so good that I wished I could reverse time and eat it again. Next time I got the fried ribs and wings. Everything is made to order. I definitely recommend going here.

We eat here at least twice a month and it is normally wonderful & flavorful with nice portions. However the visit on 10/31 was lackluster. I always order a brisket sandwich and fried okra and my partner gets a rib sandwich . As a TEXAN im picky bout my BBQ- I brag about the food here at 12 bone. I was very disappointed in the quality and portions of our food this last visit. Instead of the meat hanging off the sandwiches in thick slices of beefy goodness I got 3 lunch meat sized shaved pieces of “brisket ” that I had to lift the top bun to find. The okra i ordered was crispy n golden but I was given a very small portion. The ribs n brisket were not flavorful nor moist at least the scarce pieces we got. The front counter lady was a delight . I am not posting for attention – i want them to be aware of customer issues and concerns.

I got a fish plate. The okra wasn’t really seasoned enough. The baked beans were good. The fish was seasoned ok but wasn’t really fried hard.
I also got a rib tip plate. The ribs weren’t that good. I didn’t really like the macaroni either. A $2 tip was added without my permission. Never told me about any card fees. Overall I’ll give it a 4 out of 10

I enjoyed this restaurant. The BBQ ribs were delicious. The sauce is not too rich so I could taste all the flavor of the ribs. I had a side of fried catfish that I thought was a bit bland. It wasn’t bad just didn’t have a fish essence. The baked beans were good and the potato tasted good although they’re more like a loaded mashed potato. Still good though. I was surprised they didn’t serve unsweet tea. The sweet tea is a fountain drink. They do have Coke Zero and several other bottled drinks. I liked the employees and they work hard to take care of everyone that comes in. Their prices are comparable to other BBQ restaurants. The air conditioner was just right for staying comfortable while you dine in. I thought their TV/music selection was fun! Nice, clean, happy, and great food here! I’m adding them to my favorites. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

This place is Golden! Do not bring your Mama here cause you will give her a little slap for food being this durn good! I found me a BBQ spot to come to and enjoy a BBQ plate. I did the fried ribs for the 1st time and it did not disappoint!
