Pleasantly surprised! Our office scheduled lunch for 8 today and to be honest, after reading some of the reviews, I was a little skeptical. But!! I can tell you that we had a positive experience. The service was fantastic. The chips were crispy (and perfect!) Everyone enjoyed their dishes. Full of flavor! And reasonably priced. Portions were a nice size as well for the price.

Went there for the first time today. Our server was Christian. He was very nice, friendly, and professional. The food was great (we had a Supreme Burrito, and a California Burrito). There was more food than we expected. The margaritas were great! We definitely will go back again!

This is our favorite place to eat, every time. The food is AMAZING! Every entree we’ve had has been superb. The best thing is that each time we go, there are subtle differences that prove the food is made with love from their family recipes. Prices are reasonable, the service is wonderful and the vibe is always festive and friendly. We love Sabor A Mexico so much!

Went today after they reopened after some renovations and new owners. Food was FANTASTIC, brought out fast, and so goooooood! The margaritas UNBELIEVABLE!!!! New floors, TV’s, friendly staff!!! I can see coming here for Friday happy hours!!!!

Came here for dinner, and it was okay. The wife ordered a shrimp cocktail, and I wanted a mocajete. Now they don’t have a mocajete, but our waiter recommended a special fajita plate that was very similar to a mocajete dish. He did a very good job recommending something close to what I wanted. The flavor was ok. It felt like the meat needed more seasoning. Now, once I got to the bottom of the plate, I could get more of the fat and grease, and it tasted great! Their stuffed jalapeños did not seem like they made them in back but more just opened a box of poppers and fried them. After dinner, what else is left but to order some desert. And unfortunately, this is where I am not happy. They did not have any Flan. I love Flan and always expect a restaurant to have this item in stock. It’s a staple in Mexican history. Overall, yes I would come back here again.

Don’t Do It. We have been coming here for years. We absolutely LOVED eating here for the food, atmosphere and service. Not sure what happened but the food is absolutely horrible now. We have been getting the Pollo Con Crèma for years and tonight it was like nothing we have ever had before. The margaritas were nothing but sour mix. It’s so sad – this was our local go to spot and it’s just terrible now. The service is still amazing and we are sad to see that it has changed so much. We ordered an enchilada and it came with no sauce. We asked for sauce and they charged us for sauce.

Great food, Awesome drinks, and Great service. Live music tonight was great and the fruit addition to the Rita’s is a nice change. We go here at least once or twice a month or more. Falls in my top 5 favorite Mexican restaurants to go to here locally. Mainly for the margaritas.

I was surprised by how good this place is! I would say it’s more TexMex but man not one thing any of us ordered was bad. The service was good. They have a friendly staff and they were sufficient in getting everything we needed. I ordered ceviche which I may have to come back for or possibly their amazing wet burritos. Yum! I’m from lovely San Diego so eating here was a nice change in pace. I’m saying the Mexican food in Florida doesn’t compare (being blunt real quick) yet this place was great. Comparable! I love when I can find myself some good Mexican food. Must come here and leave room for dessert!

If you love TexMex this is the place to go! I went last night with my husband & 3 kids (ages 7,3, & 6 months). As you walk in you are immediately welcomed, we were seated and as well immediately taken care of (which is super important especially when kids are involved). We ordered Salsa and Chips as well as Guacamole because let’s be honest what’s chips with no guacamole! Well let me tell you the guac was AMAZING. We then ordered a kids quesadilla, kids nuggets, a chimichanga & taco meal and a Mexican fajita dish— which I might add is a fajita skillet mountained with meat, chicken, shrimp, pastor & chorizo. TALK ABOUT FILING, we added a picture but honestly just started chowing down before remembering to snap a picture. Then mama decided to order a drink….. HOLY MOLY THE SIZE OF MY MARGARITA AND THE FLAVOR I ordered mango flavor which was so delicious with all those fresh fruits. The kids got churros and let me tell you there is nothing better than warm churros with cold ice cream !!
