It’s been a while since we’ve been to Ruth Ann’s and I regret that I somehow forgot how good it is! Our server, Dana, made a couple of recommendations and I’m so glad we listened. I had the turkey and dressing with field peas and collards and it was delicious. All was homemade and the dressing was almost as good as mine. My husband had the bubble waffles and they were the perfect combination of sweet but not too sweet. Dana was amazing, super helpful and thorough. I look forward to visiting again. Oh, I did drop a star on atmosphere because they had a TV playing with FOX News. That’s not something I want to see, especially while dining out. Drop the TV all together.

The food here was great. All that we expected and more. The pancake tacos, red velvet pancakes and omelet were in point! Their specialty lattes could use a little.more espresso though, they tasted more milky than anything. The service was fine, but im not sure if they were understaffed or something when we went because we hardly ever saw our server. I’d probably still go back for the food though!

I asked for everything to not touch ( I’m weird that’s what I like) and it was all in separate dishes to make sure my request was met. Out of all the dishes brought to the table I believe only one of us enjoyed our meal. It was later told to me that the owner passed and it is under new management so maybe that’s why it was so. The place looked kind of run down like a hole in the wall. Our server was very nice and attentive.

My husband and I were very disappointed we basically wanted a egg, cheese, bacon sandwich on grilled Texas toast so the waitress made it seem like she was going to give us a better deal by having us order the build your own meal instead of us buying everything as sides made us spend $40 and the bacon wasn’t cooked right and we didn’t even touch our sides and had the nerve to tell us we should have said something right when she put the food down.very poor suggestive sale. Will never go back. We were passing through on business will not recommend.

My man suggested I eat there today after my blood work. I was so glad I did. The young lady who served me was very polite and friendly. Kept checking on me to make sure I was okay. I had order the chicken florentine with grits, brown gravy, biscuit and water. The food was very good. I will go back. Thank you!

We visited Columbus while hiding from Hurricane Milton and couldn’t pass up a shot at giving Ruth Ann’s Restaurant a try. While there were plenty of options that sounded appealing, the chicken & gravy with a fried egg was the winner and it was lights out.
Coffee was also good and the staff was both friendly and attentive. All in all a great visit.
