The lunch menu was pretty good. The salad had an amazing dressing. Really love the crunch of the crispy garlic shrimp. The curry made from coconut was really savory. Choose padthai over the thick noodles, not much flavor.

The food here is absolutely delicious, the flavors are incredible. Our waitress was super kind and sweet. As of all the employees here. Such a friendly atmosphere. From the drinks to our dessert, everything was pure perfection. Super clean restaurant too. If you love Thai cuisine, this place is definitely worth a try.

Fantastic Thai food that just hits every time. We came as a large group and got to try a bunch of everything. Curry and duck were delicious, drinks were spot on. My least favorite was the branzino. It may be a personal preference. However, only one unisex bathroom caused a bit of a wait for this size establishment. The host was very attentive and took care of us.

Sabai Thai never disappoints! I’ve visited this restaurant 3–4 times already, and it consistently ranks as one of my top Thai spots in NYC. The food is always packed with flavor and beautifully prepared. The Pineapple Fried Rice is a standout — perfectly balanced, fragrant, and so comforting. The Red Curry is rich, creamy, and has just the right amount of heat.

The ambiance is warm, cozy, and inviting, making it perfect for both casual dinners and special occasions. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, and they truly go the extra mile — on my birthday, they even surprised me with complimentary mochi ice cream, which made the night feel even more special.

If you’re looking for delicious Thai food with amazing service and a great atmosphere, Sabai Thai is an absolute must-visit!

Service was exceptional. Amazing food and cocktail/mocktail drinks. Only thing is I wish the portion sizes was bigger for the price.

The food was delicious. The curry puff appetizer was quite a bit really delicious. The pad Thai was beautifully served. The only complaint was the lychee martini was quite sweet, and the prices were higher than I would expect for what I ordered.

Classic Thai food. The place has plenty of space. Only has one restroom though. I enjoyed their papaya salad as its not too salty and the Sabai sampler is amazing for the variety of food. My favorite is the Shrimp Pad Thai taste amazing and the sauce is well balanced, not too saucy neither too dry. One thing i did not enjoy though is the honey roti banana, the banana is too soft for my liking. I preferred the banana to be fried to give it a little texture. But overall I highly recommend this place.

Sabai Thai was a great find — 5 stars overall! The food was delicious: pad Thai with perfect balance, spicy basil chicken full of flavor, fresh spring rolls, and the green curry was creamy and aromatic. Portions generous and everything tasted authentic.
Service was friendly and quick — staff were welcoming and helpful with spice levels. Atmosphere is cozy and casual: warm lighting, simple Thai décor, and a relaxed neighborhood vibe.
Nice choice for reliable Thai food without the crowds. Would return!

Sabai Thai delivers a genuinely enjoyable dining experience. The ambiance is warm and elegant the kind of place that feels right for both a casual dinner and a special occasion. Our server was attentive and friendly throughout the meal.
The food was the highlight. The Pad Thai was flavorful and satisfying, the green curry was creamy and aromatic, and we loved the Sabai Sampler as a starter — great variety. The cocktails were well-crafted and not watered down, which is always appreciated.
The one thing holding me back from five stars is the pricing it’s on the higher end, so be prepared for that going in. For the right occasion it’s absolutely worth it, but for a casual weeknight it might give you pause. Overall though, if you’re looking for authentic Thai food in NYC with a great atmosphere, Sabai Thai is a very strong choice.
