We were greeted by a friendly young man, Rafi, who took the time to answer all our questions about the items on the menu. Our food came quickly and was delicious, I had the hot dog with sauerkraut and onion rings. The onion rings were some of the best I have ever tasted, crispy not at all greasy and flavorful.
The atmosphere is what impressed me the most. It’s a family run business and the owner came over to make sure we had everything we needed. There are amazing hand painted murals on the walls(painted by the owner’s daughter) which brighten up the place and add to the ambience. I highly recommend this delightful little restaurant!

I saw the mixture of five and one star reviews so I wanted to visit and see what it was like for myself, and I have to say my experience was awesome!

The food came out fresh and I had my full order at my table in less than 10 minutes.

I think I just had the best onion rings of my entire life.

The burger tasted exactly how I wanted it to and the fries were on point.
They even went out of their way to accommodate my food allergies.

I am a bit of a tea fanatic so I had to try the sweet tea to see how it was.
I have to say that their sweet tea had a really nice flavor to it. Just a touch of rosewater- LOVED it!
The only restaurant in the area that does this is about a 30 minute drive from Sababa’s and his off of Johnson’s ferry Road. So it’s nice to have a place closer with the tea I like.

There is a lot of detail and love that went into this restaurant. All you have to do is look around at the hand-painted murals to the way they greet you so warmly when you enter.

The owner came up to my table and even sat down and talked to me for a bit. Very nice guy!

I can’t recommend Sababa’s enough.
Seriously, eat there!

The burgers here are amazing! And if you don’t like (or feel like) beef, they have a couple of vegetarian options as well as my favorite, The Phoenix. It’s a fried chicken breast dipped in buffalo hot sauce and served on a bun with fixings. The sides are great (try the onion rings), and their house tea has a Persian flair to it. It’s casual, and oh so delicious!

I can’t stop eating here. The burgers and chicken sandwiches are so good I can’t believe it’s all kosher. Who knew beef bacon and fake cheese could be so delicious? The service is great and I love all of the Atlanta references in the restaurant. Pro tip get the trasher without avocado. The chicken tenders are gargantuan and delicious and the fries are crispy and yummy. I went yesterday and I will be visiting again today.

For those who are wondering, the food is no longer Halal but is Kosher, which is still acceptable to eat as a Muslim. Now I am unclear on their political stances about recent events, but the cashier was nice.

Now to the important part, the food. I had a classic burger which had a very generous patty and it was good. The patty was a bit under seasoned but I still enjoyed it overall. I wished that got one of their sides to try as well.

I truly respect their call to support the rules of Kosher, so their “bacon” was beef pastrami and their “cheese” was dairy free.

Overall I enjoyed the food, although I felt a bit anxious being an Hijabi in a Jewish establishment (my anxiety was not based on something that anyone in the restaurant did).

Wow, I was amazed from the food to the customer service. Wings were dynamite. If you like real wings and none of that fake inflated chicken then this is the spot for you. Amazing crunch and properly cooked. The burgers were insane too, packed with flavors and a really good size. Also it’s all HALAL! BurgerIM is a win. Fairly Priced as well.

I enjoyed the experience going into this new restaurant located down the street from my home. The place I was originally going in the plaza was closed so I decided to try out Sababa’s. I was greeted and welcomed in, explained their daily menus, and helped order my meal. I got chicken tenders, a basket of fries, 6 wings, a strawberry milkshake, and sprite. The chicken tenders were definitely frozen before serving and not served with any sauce. The fries were good. The chicken wings however are when things went SOUTH. I bit into the chicken… thankfully already cautious and a pool of chicken blood and juices flowed into my month. I instantly spit the bite back out and quickly rinsed my mouth. I stood there for a sec in disbelief before calling the store back. It was after their hours of operation so first call they did not answer. However the second time they picked up and this is where things got EVEN WORSE. I tell the guy that my chicken was undercooked and he proceeds to tell me “that’s how it’s supposed to be” he continues that “I had a conversation with the chef about the pink and red in the chicken he said it’s normal because it’s “REAL CHICKEN” WHAT DOES THAT MEAN!? I asked him health department would agree and he doubled down. This is what prompts me to leave this review. Had that worker been honest that no chicken should have blood coming from it and given a refund, credit, or even asked what I would like to remedy the situation this would not be done. Anyway the place was far too expensive. 6 wings for $9?? It’s a mediocre burger place with no special menu or anything. The items were very basic. Will not be returning.

Food was great. Fun atmosphere. BUT we had to wait over a hour for the food. Burgers and fries in red plastic baskets should not take that long. I would have understood if they told us they were backed-up when we ordered. We had toddlers and would’ve come back another time. I saw everyone else have the same experience and get very annoyed. Just let people know!

Solid burger. Made fresh. Workers were pleasant. Establishment was clean.

Burger is fairly customizable. Sweet potato fries were good but ended up being soggy by the time I got home so I only ate a few.

Would recommend though I’ve had better everywhere so probably wouldn’t return to this restaurant.

If you’re in Atlanta and haven’t tried the Sababba Burger Joint yet, you’re missing out on a culinary gem that redefines the kosher dining experience. This place is not just a restaurant; it’s a vibe!

From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere that sets the stage for an unforgettable meal. The interior is stylish and modern, with just the right amount of coziness to make you feel at home. The staff? Absolutely delightful! They are friendly, attentive, and make you feel like a valued guest from start to finish.

Now, let’s talk about the food. Sababba offers a unique twist on the classic burger, with options that cater to both meat lovers and vegans & even has gluten free options! Their kosher burgers are juicy and flavorful, perfectly complemented by their vegan kosher cheese that melts in your mouth. And for those who are dairy-free, the dairy-free ice cream and milkshakes with kosher sprinkles are a must-try. It’s a rare find to have such a variety of delicious options that adhere to kosher dietary laws, and Sababba nails it.

The fries are a revelation—crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and seasoned to perfection. You can taste the freshness in every bite, and it’s clear that quality ingredients are a priority here.

Overall, Sababba Burger is a standout in the Atlanta dining scene. Whether you’re kosher or not, this is a spot that promises a delightful dining experience. The combination of innovative menu options, stellar service, DRAFT BEER and a welcoming atmosphere makes it a must-visit. Kudos to the team for creating such a fantastic place—I’ll definitely be back for more!
