I love this restaurant! The staff have always been delightful, the falafel is exquisite especially if YOU know what to add. The cold drinks available were lemonade, strawberry watermelon, and mango. Ask for a mix of all three – absolutely lovely. I asked for a side of fried cauliflower, eggplant and potatoes it was perfect to accompany my falafel.

Sababa Falafel Shop is a great spot for fresh, authentic Palestinian food. The falafel is flavorful and perfectly cooked, and you can really taste the quality of the ingredients. The hummus is creamy with the option to add meat on top! Everything—from the vegetables to the sauces—tastes fresh.

One of the best parts is the customization. You can build your sandwich exactly how you want it, with plenty of topping and sauce options.

The tea with fresh mint is also a standout—simple, refreshing, and a perfect addition to the meal.

The staff is friendly and welcoming. There are often long lines, so bring a little patience—but the team moves the line quickly and never seems flustered, even when it’s busy. It’s worth the wait, and there’s ample seating once you get your food.

Overall, Sababa Falafel shop delivers good food and a great experience. Highly recommend.

Definitely worth a visit! Food is fresh and filling. Prices are a little more high, but may be worth it every now and then. They do pack it full for you though. Got the veg with Jerusalem bread and falafel and came out to just under $20. They also keep the tables clean and ready for all the customers pouring in.

Great, cool, awesome…good are what Sababa means in Arabic. I would agree with this…They have a build your own plate, bowl, sandwich rotation going on. They’re busy and proud. The line is out the door but they all watch in admiration (some in astonishment) watching the assembly line make Sababa food. Lets talk about the star of the shop. The peach cobbler. Who the heck made this?! they should open up a bakery. Had me shaking my head like how is this possible.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.7/5 An Authentic Taste of Palestine – Worth Every Star!

Sababa absolutely lives up to its name, which means “Amazing” and “Excellent” . This isn’t just another falafel spot; it’s a genuine culinary experience that transports you straight to the Middle East with every bite. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with incredible hospitality, often starting with a free, delicious falafel sample—a gesture of true generosity (or karam) that sets the tone .

The food is nothing short of spectacular. Their signature falafel, perfected over 14 months of testing, is a revelation: incredibly light, fluffy, and perfectly seasoned . I highly recommend trying it “Sababa style” in one of their pita sandwiches, stuffed with red cabbage, spicy chili sauce, pickles, and tahini . The Jerusalem bread is also a must-try . The ingredients taste exceptionally fresh, and the ability to build your own bowl or sandwich with high-quality options, including fantastic grilled halal chicken and ribeye, means there’s something for everyone .

The new dining room is beautifully designed with Palestinian embroidery and a cozy, vibrant atmosphere . The staff is consistently friendly and the service is quick, even when they’re busy .

So why 4.7 and not a full 5? During peak hours, the line can get long and parking in the shared lot can be a bit of a challenge . It’s a minor inconvenience for food this good, but worth planning for. This place is a true gem and 100% deserves its spot on Yelp’s Top 100 list . I can’t wait to go back! ✨

O…M…G…. I don’t even like falafel usually, and WOW. Sababa is EXCELLENT. Delicious falafel sandwich — their Makali with falafel and Ribeye (spicy) sandwiches were absolutely divine as well. Every single bite we took was better than the next. Flavors on flavors! What a treat.
The owner was on site and you can tell he runs a well-oiled machine with high quality standards for everything from the condiments to the proteins and fresh veggies. The space is also super cute, clean, and the staff were very friendly with great vibes— being Lebanese, it felt like I’d walked into a falafel joint in Beirut. We’ll definitely be back! Yummy!

Found this great eatery by total accident and I’m so glad we did. The chicken pita (with everything!) was delicious and holds up perfectly even as leftovers. Beyond the food, I found a lovely bracelet and really appreciated the mission behind the shop. An eatery with a purpose is my favorite kind of place. Can’t wait to return!

Oh My Allah (OMA) & OMG!!!

Where have ‘I’ been all this time. For the first time I visited and tried the foods at Sababa Falafel Shop this evening.

I ordered for takeout the falafel pita sandwich, and it was AMAZING. The customer service was also awesome. The staff was courteous and friendly.

In addition, the manager helped me model the Palestinian varsity jacket. I loved the whole “vibe’ of the place. I cannot wait to come back with family and friends to sit-in and a have a meal!

Great job, ‘Let’s Go Sababa Falafel Shop’

Yours in faith & family

I’m going to tell you like this: I’ve eaten food before — but this, this is another level of love, joy, and pure absolute divinity. I’m replaying every fine dining memory I’ve ever had, and I’m telling you right now — this place is, by far, the best thing you will ever eat in your entire life.

I highly recommend the chicken pita with everything. The first time I had it, I think I took a picture — but I can’t remember, and this must be my fourth visit. Each time, it’s already gone before I even think about photos because it’s that good. Next time, I’m coming back for the steak pita — and I promise I’ll try to remember to take a picture before it disappears.

Every flavor combination is perfectly balanced. Each seasoned, pickled, or roasted element feels like a festival of flavor — absolute in its harmony. The meat is soft, tender, and juicy. Nothing is over-salted or under-seasoned; it’s the perfect amount of everything. And the portion? Divine precision. Every time I leave Sababa Falafel Shop, my stomach smiles all the way to the corners of my lips — touching my ears.

Let me be clear: if this were the only restaurant left in the world, I would be completely fine with that.

If you live on the East Coast, fly to Santa Ana, Uber to Garden Grove, and make this pilgrimage.
If you’re reading this from Europe, come to America just to experience this food.
If you’re in Africa, Asia, or anywhere on Earth, I promise you — it’s 100% worth the journey.

Sababa Falafel Shop isn’t just food — it’s an encounter with perfection. ✨

Today I tried for the first time, and it was absolutely amazing

The falafel was extremely delicious, fresh, and high quality. You can really taste how fresh the ingredients are
Everything was served hot, clean, and very professionally.

The place itself is very clean, modern, stylish, and well-designed — a great atmosphere to enjoy your food comfortably.
The staff was also friendly and respectful.
