Had a really great experience for our first time at S3 on Valentine’s Day. Our waiter Joshua A. was really attentive to us and made it a wonderful experience. He was attentive, prompt and easy to talk to. We absolutely loved the food, the goat cheese croquettes and grilled octopus were our favorite. Yummy drinks, the Moscow mule and the “Sand”. We ordered 2 apps, a sushi roll, a fried rice bowl, and the branzino. Everything came out in a perfect order for us to enjoy each dish. Even some managers brought out of dish, showing they are proactive in helping their staff, which means a lot as a former hospitality worker, it hits different. Def recommend going especially for a date night. Nice view on Fort Lauderdale beach sitting outside. Even if it gets a little chilly they have heaters. Someone even came by and took a pic of us with a Polaroid. Over all a really nice experience. (Also we were super late for a reservation because of a street festival and traffic and they were very accommodating and still sat us right away!) We will be back

This is a great sushi spot right on the beach. The location is hard to beat. Service is fast and friendly, making it perfect for a sunset dinner on a Thursday night. Jinan took great care of us!
The cocktails were excellent. We had the Mamasita and the Smoke Signal Old Fashioned, and the menu offers a solid selection of sushi. We started with the Tuna Crispy Rice, and then I ordered the Neo Tokyo and the Angry Hamachi, and my boyfriend had the Lucky Roll and the Surf and Turf Roll.
Prices are fair considering the quality and the beachside setting (about $105 per person). Overall, it’s a relaxed and enjoyable spot, worth a visit if you’re in the area.

We’ve been to a lot of fusion sushi restaurants and S3 truly impressed us!! Loved the casual-chic atmosphere, great service from Terry, and amazing dishes!! The Omakase Nigiri Box was a standout. From the way it was presented to the freshness of the fishes to the combination of flavors that the Michelin-star sushi chef created…it was pure artistry…absolutely delicious! We also had their Neo Tokyo signature roll which was probably the most creative and best roll we ever had. We highly recommend this restaurant. Rivals the sushi we had in Hawaii and Tokyo!

Cameron took incredible care of us all night. The service was attentive without being overbearing, and everything came out quickly and perfectly prepared. What truly stood out was how knowledgeable and thoughtful he was about a gluten allergy at our table. He gave fantastic recommendations, double-checked ingredients, and made sure we felt completely comfortable and confident with our choices. That level of care meant so much and made the experience stress-free.
The food was to die for. We ordered drinks, appetizers, shared sushi, and finished with cheesecake for dessert — and every single item was flawless. Beautiful presentation, fresh ingredients, and amazing flavor in every bite.

Love all the dishes we ordered at S3, all executed with precision and carefully plated, yet full of flavor . The cocktails were perfectly crafted and by far the best we have had of all the restaurants we’ve visited here in Fort Lauderdale. Service is on point, thank you Cameron, and outdoor frontview of the beach is just breathtaking. We will definitely make a second visit before going back home to California. And yet, we made our second visit and we couldn’t be happier!!! We were served by Joshua and the dream team. We love the nigiri cocktails were perfect and consistent. Thank you for the amazing experience and hospitality. We will tell all our friends and family to visit!!!

4 of us went here on a Sunday in July 2025. It was busy but didn’t seem SLAMMED. With a reservation we still had to wait 30-40 minutes to be seated. The atmosphere and ambience is AMAZING as the restaurant is well decorated and right across from the beach. The food was AWESOME. Where they fell short was customer service and timing. Adriana was our waitress, maybe she was having a bad day or the restaurant was just understaffed. We ordered drinks as we were seated, nothing fancy, the drinks took 35 minutes. Came after our appetizers. The food took long as well. Would give them another chance one day, because of the food and ambience.

What an amazing place for dinner! Our server Trevor R was truly the best. We came as a bachelorette group and he was so accommodating, answered all our silly questions and gave amazing recommendations for the food. We even enjoyed the most delicious dessert!!! Will come back again whenever we’re in town!

The bad: The food was ok, not completely bland but it lacked flavor. The drinks were good but lacked enough alcohol…could have ordered a lemonade if I wanted a fruit drink. It was also difficult to find parking.

I went there with a group of coworkers to celebrate the end of the year, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. The drinks were amazing, the food was exquisite, and the service was outstanding. Add in the beautiful ocean view, and it was the perfect setting. We will definitely be back.

Let me start by saying this. It is a pricey place and there is nothing I hate more than paying for over priced food that is not that great and being disappointed. BUT It was completely worth it and I’d do it again. We were given a promotional card for a BOGO drink and so we stopped by here just to grab a drink. As we stood there with our drinks, we were watching the food come out to the tables and bar area. We couldn’t help ourselves, we weren’t even that hungry but based on appearance we figured we better try something. The atmosphere of sitting in the fresh air and slight ocean breeze, while looking out to the beach was amazing. We ordered the Bang Bang Shrimp to start then split the S3 sushi roll. Oh my goodness. The shrimp was cooked to perfection and the layers of flavor created with the coating on the shrimp then drizzled with some amazing goodness. Now for the Sushi roll. Where we are from there are only a few places for sushi, but this S3 sushi roll has just ruined those places for me. The amount of flavor packed into every little light and tender bite is incredible. The black garlic semi sauce then some how amazingly elevated it even more. SO If you are one like me to look at prices of the menu to determine whether you will try it or not… DON’T. DON’T EVEN LOOK, JUST GO!!
