Ryoshi is our immense passion for Japanese cuisine on the daily table. It’s comforting, high-quality, affordable cuisine, just like we can find in the homes and small restaurants of the province. At Ryoshi, we serve the Japanese cuisine we admire: cuisine made of seasonal products, simplicity, unique flavors, and tradition.

Ryoshi Lisboa, Lisbon, Portugal – Reviews, Ratings, Tips and Why …
Reviews
The food was exceptional; every dish felt like a creative expression of Japanese inspiration with local Portuguese ingredients. The flavors were bold, unique, and perfectly balanced. We ordered the oysters, eggplant (a must-try!), miso corn, karaage chicken, and the sando (also a must-try!), and honestly, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.
We tried many of the “highly recommended” spots around Lisbon, but Ryoshi blew them all away. If you’re in Lisbon and looking for something truly memorable; this is an absolute must-visit.
The service is slow, it’s a no-rush restaurant, but the staff is nice. It is very small, so I recommend to book in advance, and it’s possible to eat in front of the kitchen, right in front of the Chef.
The atmosphere is irreverent and young, with dance music. At 11 PM you will ear an horn, meaning that is the last loud music of the night.
Also, seat in the bar stools for a better experience
Ps: make sure you’ll be having at least 2 desserts!….
Oyster, eel and the chef lucas sandwich are obligatory!
Hope I’m back soon!
We were a group of 8 for a fabulously fun night out with a series of taste combinations and a great rose at a fair price.
Roast beef and katsu sandu were quite good, but everything fish was actually quite tasteless.
The lady serving us was also smiley and nice, but it was hard to hear what she was saying due to the music.
And finally, the place was priced like a high end restaurant, but the quality of the food nor the level of hospitality reflected the price.
And yes, we came home and had food afterwards. And we did have some food BEFORE going to the dinner
So much potential, but for now I would not recommend.
Amazing food made from the freshest ingredients, a smart and well-curated menu, and an intimate, friendly atmosphere make this place a perfect spot for a date night or a gathering with friends.
Hands down, one of the best restaurant experiences I’ve had here so far!
