This was easily one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in Lisbon (and honestly, anywhere). The service was outstanding; every single person we interacted with was incredibly friendly and attentive. The head chef personally came around to explain each dish to every guest, which made the whole experience feel intimate and special. The bartenders and host were equally warm and helpful, making the evening feel effortless from start to finish.

The food was exceptional; every dish felt like a creative expression of Japanese inspiration with local Portuguese ingredients. The flavors were bold, unique, and perfectly balanced. We ordered the oysters, eggplant (a must-try!), miso corn, karaage chicken, and the sando (also a must-try!), and honestly, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.

We tried many of the “highly recommended” spots around Lisbon, but Ryoshi blew them all away. If you’re in Lisbon and looking for something truly memorable; this is an absolute must-visit.

Such an interesting restaurant, with a curious cooking style and approach to food. Regular things like squids or a sandwich look like a fancy, and funny, thing.
The service is slow, it’s a no-rush restaurant, but the staff is nice. It is very small, so I recommend to book in advance, and it’s possible to eat in front of the kitchen, right in front of the Chef.
The atmosphere is irreverent and young, with dance music. At 11 PM you will ear an horn, meaning that is the last loud music of the night.

I would give 6 stars if that was an option! Absolutely incredible. It’s hard to choose my favorite between the gyozas, the katsu sando and the unagi don. The staff is amazing!
Also, seat in the bar stools for a better experience

Ps: make sure you’ll be having at least 2 desserts!….

Everything was amazing, the food was 10/10. A very unique tasting menu with fresh ingredients, definitely will be coming back. Our favorites was the sashimi, sushi and the katsu sandwich.

In the heart of the city, this hip Japanese inspired restaurant offers a series of tasty and innovative sharing plates by souschef Manuel Penim in a club like ambiance in two floors with informal and efficient service.

We were a group of 8 for a fabulously fun night out with a series of taste combinations and a great rose at a fair price.

As many others already said, music was insanely loud for the evening (and besides annoying, this feels pretty sad when place is half empty too), and food was, unfortunately, average.
Roast beef and katsu sandu were quite good, but everything fish was actually quite tasteless.
The lady serving us was also smiley and nice, but it was hard to hear what she was saying due to the music.
And finally, the place was priced like a high end restaurant, but the quality of the food nor the level of hospitality reflected the price.

And yes, we came home and had food afterwards. And we did have some food BEFORE going to the dinner

So much potential, but for now I would not recommend.
