The food is delicious….. we stopped here to bring lunch to my son and his wife after having a baby. The Chef Salad is fresh and fills you. We also got the chicken salad hoagie, the roast beef hoagie and the turkey hoagie. They cut all the lunch meat to order so that makes things run slow but be patient….its well worth it!!

I normally go to Marcus Hook deli but they have been struggling with issues. I cane across Ryand deli and I have got to say this was the best experience I have had in year. Everyone is friendly and professional, made me feel welcome, I think this is what happy people look like. Being a true Phila chick, cheesteaks make or break a deli for me, as I waited I have to make special note this is the cleanest business I have ever seen, meticulously clean. I watched as I waited for my food, cleaning the deli and restocking rolls at 3pm. I ordered a cheesteak and chicken parm, and a bacon cheeseburger platter. I have to say 10 out of 10 parm and steak, I did not like the consistency of the burger but husband loved it took it to work the next day. Big burger, freshly made hubby’s happy. Being in charge of dinner, dinner was served. I priced the lunch meat comparatable to hook deli, but did I mention this deli is clean… very clean filled with happy people.. my new deli go visit, you won’t be disappointed!

Unfortunately we have to talk about the cheesesteak. The Cheesesteak could be Ryan’s Deli’s Achilles heel. It came on a traditional roll. The cheese was melted very nicely but this cheesesteak was wet. You can see in the video a cheesey watery substance gushing out of the bottom of the Cheesesteak on every bite. The watery cheese did not help the mushrooms. Luckily I also got and have leftovers of their chicken salad and Pumpkin Bread Pudding so I am still very very happy I stopped at Ryan’s Country Market.

Fantastic deli! Sandwiches and ingredients are always fresh and staff are very friendly. However, I usually like to order ahead by calling them and the woman on the phone always seems to have a bit of an attitude on her. Just be wary of that if you plan on ordering ahead of time.

Ryans has been our deli for over 15yrs so far back when they were up at 5 points. As always the staff were ” unique ” and friendly banter back and forth makes life fun. The products purchased were of a high quality and competively priced.
