Catfish was really good and perfectly fried, the home made hush puppies were very tasty as was the coleslaw and french fries.
The restrooms were clean as was the dining area. We were impressed with the service we got from our waitress.
I highly recommend this place for a great catfish diner.
We will be back.

!Call before you drive here for dinner. Avoid disappointment!
Decided to drive the hour to Jimmy D’s 3/18/22 only to find them doing takeout only, no inside dining. So this more than likely removes them from our family dinner out rotation. I sincerely hope they can find their way out of the craziness that the covid created in the restaurant business!
Check my reviews for where we found great steak and fish less than 15 minutes away!
Generally speaking good food, buffet is priced about right when the selection is good, but get there early! Good salad bar and service is generally very good. I will update the review if we try to eat at Jimmy D’s again.

I don’t know where to begin. This was a spare of a moment drop in on our way home to Frederick Oklahoma. I ordered the All-you-can-eat Catfish which the first plate portions were generous. Hush puppies were fried crisp but hard, they were done not doughy and had a great flavor. Tator tots were crisp but not hard. I most generally give my coleslaw to my husband after trying a small taste. But this one did not make it to my husband. Best slaw that I’ve ever had. Catfish was absolutely amazing! Battered just right and was not over cooked.
A must stop when traveling down Highway 70!

My entire family loves Jimmy D’s Catfish Restaurant. #1 favorite for delicious fried catfish, beans, hush puppies and more. The Chicken fried steak platter is wonderful. Food is always served fresh and hot. Jimmy D owner, Family and staff are to be commended. My highest compliment as to excellence.

Love eating here. I havent had anything from here to eat that wasnt A1 quality. The portions are good for the price also. The staff is very friendly. They offer a senior special lunch buffet and a weekend dinner buffet as well. Their coleslaw is out of this world.

Forget about Bob’s Catfish in Meridian and Bill’s Catfish in Waurika. Jimmy D’s blows them outta the water. I worked at a catfish restaurant in Tennessee that had the most amazing hush puppies. Since moving to Oklahoma I’ve searched far and wide for some that were similar and today I found them. The catfish here is crispy and seasoned perfectly, the coleslaw was some of the best I’ve had, the fries are freshly cut, and those hush puppies are a dream. This will be the only catfish restaurant for me from here on out. ❤️

Incredible food! Best catfish I’ve ever had! Could eat here every day of the week. Highly recommend stopping in and enjoying I hope this place never closes.

Surprised the pervious poster had such a unpleasant experience. Reviews from other sources are all excellent. Maybe it was a bad day for all? I have always found Jimmy D’s to be attentive to the needs of their customers, the food is always fresh and delicious. It is a family ran establishment, and many of the regular customers consider themselves family also.
