One of the few Italian restaurants that truly exceeded my expectations. Absolutely everything was on point — the service, the food, the atmosphere, the pacing, and the attention to detail.
To top it off, we asked for a cheese board for dessert, even though it wasn’t on the menu, and they still managed to put together an incredible selection at short notice.
Without a doubt, one of the biggest hidden gems I’ve discovered. A truly deserved 5/5

The ambience was very relaxing calm and welcoming, the staff were especially friendly adding on to the overall experience.
Highly recommend their ruzzo specials, we ordered pizzas and pastas, they were impressive with a home cooked touch that you wouldn’t normally find at restaurants. The visuals of how each dish was presented also complemented our dinning experience.
Lovely food and staff, highly recomend to those looking for a comforting dinning experience.

I have been on a search for a high quality Italian restaurant in Kent for a while now and I can confidently say Ruzzo certainly did not disappoint. We went on a fairly busy Saturday night and the restaurant was just full of laughter and joy from the moment we stepped in which made our experience even so great! Our amazing chef Enea was so welcoming and catering towards our needs, I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is craving any authentic Italian cuisine.

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with a charming yet modern feel. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable, offering great recommendations without being overbearing.

Decided to come here on a whim. The food was genuinely outstanding, with the presentation being excellent. I enjoyed every mouthful. Enea was our server; he was so friendly and welcoming adding to the amazing experience we had here. I highly recommend, and if I lived closer I would become a regular.

The menu offered a great balance of traditional and contemporary Italian dishes – I highly recommended the special starter and the wood-fired pizza, both of which were cooked to perfection! Hi i have recently had the great pleasure of experiencing a truly wonderful dinning experience at Ruzzo’s. It was my dad’s 90th birthday, having dinned at Ruzzo’s a few times previously for me it was the only place to go to celebrate this great achievement.
They totally surpassed my expectations, I had asked for a couple of 90th birthday balloons and they amazed me by balloons,banner and table runner.
It was beautiful, we where greated will warmth and a beautiful smile. Shown to our beautifuly dressed table. Given time to settle then had a wonderful waitress take our drink orders, so it began a wonderful enjoyable birthday meal for myself, brother, mum and dad ( the birthday boy ).
The food the service both equally delightful and plenty of it. Plus good value for the money.
It just leaves me to say a big heartfelt thank you to the staff for such a delightful evening and dinning experience .

We had an amazing dinner at this family owned Italian restaurant. Bella the chef, together with her husband and 2 sons run the restaurant. We had the Mussels as starter, Ruzzo rustic pizza, Polpette Al Forno pasta and a 3 course children meal. The food was hearty and yummy. While the food is great, the pistachio cheesecake stole our hearts! Will be back

To be honest this place should be packed. We went for lunch and as our first time we were bowled over by the atmosphere and all round cleanliness, then the food arrived and we were completely hooked. Excellent quality and deliciously understated this is Italian food that doesn’t have to try hard, with great staff and reasonable prices this is a hidden gem.

We visited Ruzo this evening as a couple. The restaurant was almost empty (apart from one other table), and we were seated immediately. However, the waiting time for the starters was around 30 minutes, which was quite surprising given how quiet the restaurant was.
The quality of the food was disappointing.
The prawn and salmon risotto was very heavy and overly creamy. The Polpette al Forno pasta was extremely spicy — even for someone who usually enjoys very spicy food, it was too much.
We also ordered French fries (regular and truffle fries). Both were clearly overcooked, dry and tasted as if they had been fried multiple times. The truffle fries had no noticeable truffle flavour at all, with most of the portion being over-fried and unpleasant.
Dessert was another letdown. The pistachio cheesecake was served frozen twice. The first one was completely solid, and after asking for a replacement, the second one was unevenly defrosted — melted around the edges but still frozen in the middle — making it impossible to eat.
Service was below expectations, and the response to these issues was minimal. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, especially considering how few guests were in the restaurant.
