Ruyi Sushi next to NNY Massage is an absolute gem. We stopped in between sessions at Thai Yoga Bodywork and were seriously impressed.
The spicy tuna roll was fresh with just the right amount of heat — not overpowering, just perfectly balanced. The California roll was classic, clean, and beautifully prepared. And the shrimp hibachi? Outstanding. Hot, flavorful, generous portion, and cooked perfectly. You can tell they care about quality.
What really stood out was the service. The staff is exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and attentive without being overbearing. Our food was served promptly, everything came out hot and fresh, and they made us feel genuinely appreciated as customers.
It’s become our favorite go-to spot while waiting for our next client. Great food, exceptional service, and super convenient location near Fort Drum. Highly Recommend!

The food was top notch, service amazing. Everyone was so friendly, multiple servers said hi to us and to enjoy our visit. We live 2 hours away, but we will be back. We ordered a lot of food, left with food to bring home. Prices are great

Wonderful place. While having the same name this is in no way affiliated with Ruyi Japanese Steakhouse in Watertown. The atmosphere is neat and the food was amazing. We opted to try the A5 Wagu, at $90 it’s not for everyone, but it was an experience and I don’t know of anyone else near by who serves it. The quality of the food is great and the service was outstanding. It makes a nice date night.

There’s a few things that bothered me about the place…
1) The prices that are in the menu at your table are not the prices that you will be charged. Keep that in mind. It said a hand roll is $4.99. My bill says it was $8.99 in the photo I have my receipt. The avocado salad said it was $4.99 on the menu. My bill says $8.99 in the photo of the receipt.
2) when you’re paying your bill and you have your waiter or waitress over you, of course you’re gonna hit the most tip because they’re breathing over your shoulder. Watch out for that too.
I didn’t get ripped off too bad because it was only me and it wasn’t a big deal to give the waiter a couple extra dollars because they were pretty good. It was just the idea that I really didn’t want to give such a big tip and I felt I was forced to.
Don’t forget about the sushi chefs when you’re tipping your waiter. That waiter is waiting to grab all of the tip money.
3) the tip that you leave on your credit card does not go to the sushi chefs. They gave me a dirty look when I walked out like I forgot… I threw a couple of dollars in their bowl.

Amazing Experience at Ruyi!
I can’t recommend this place enough! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. The ambiance was perfect the vibes are immaculate
The sushi here is exceptional. Each piece was prepared with such attention to detail and the freshness of the ingredients was apparent in every bite. I was shocked to find such good sushi when my brother brought me here.
The staff was incredibly attentive, offering great suggestions and ensuring our experience was nothing short of perfect!
If you’re a sushi lover (or even if you’re not), this place is a must-visit. Worth every penny! I’ll definitely be returning soon and have already been there twice! They also have a great selection of Chinese food if you’re not interested in sushi!

I get sushi about every 2 months. We got a to go order. The sushi rolls tonight were delicious! I had the crunchy salmon roll (my new fave) and a Philly roll. My husband had the Mongolian steak with noodles. The portion of the steak and noodles was enough for two people. The front desk person was super nice and helpful. I love the decor of the inside of their restaurant.
