We started in the lounge while we waited for our reservation. Missy at the bar was a Rockstar when it came to explaining which drinks would be safe for my food allergy. She mixed up a special drink for my date and I and they were amazing. She put together several more drinks after that and they were equally great.

Our server, Scott was just a knowledgeable about the food and my allergy on top of bring well versed on the menu.

In short, the food is incredible and the staff is lovely.

It’s my favorite steakhouse in Minnesota. I love everything about it. The Ruth Chris salad is unbelievably delicious. Porterhouse steak is the best. Atmosphere is great. Staff are so friendly. Highly recommend it. Especially if you have a special occasion. Dinner was 250$ for two without any drink.

Cocktails were great, very strong and nice size. We got the goat cheese dip and spicy shrimp for appetizers. Both were good but very small portions. You only got 7 shrimp for $27 and there wasn’t much dip for $20. We all got the 4oz filets with shrimp. Steaks were fine but didn’t taste like the best quality, especially compared to other steakhouses in the area. Mashed potatoes were good. For dessert, carrot cake was good flavor though so very sweet. Bread pudding on the other hand was excellent. The vibe inside is pretty non-existent. It wasn’t super busy and it was so quiet you could hear the overhead music clearly like it was the radio playing. Jason, our server, was fantastic. Valet parking is available, on 2nd Ave., for $15.

2nd time I have dined here. The food is good. Service is good. I had the lamb chops the first time and it was perfect . Had the filet and lobster tail this time. Filet mignon was cooked perfect. Lobster tail was described as huge on the menu but it looked like a normal size tail and it was slightly over cooked. .
I do recommend the french onion soup. It is excellent. They were done perfectly both visits. Not extra salty like most restaurants.

This was our first experience at Ruth’s Chris and we’ll definitely be back. Our server, Sam, was friendly, attentive and kind. We had an old fashioned and a lemon drop martini, both were excellent. We ordered the filet mignon with a lobster tail, medium rare, and the rib eye, rare. Both were cooked to perfection. Our starters, French onion soup and Caesar salad were both very flavorful. The garlic mashed potatoes and creamed spinach were delicious as well. The cheesecake deserts with fresh fruit were delicious and just the right size after a large meal. Overall a fantastic experience and worth every penny.

Our experience at Ruth’s Chris was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the valet service was attentive and welcoming, making even the less-than-ideal weather whether rain, or snow feel like a minor detail.

Inside, the ambiance was as warm and inviting as ever. Our server, Tony, went above and beyond with his excellent conversation, patience, and accommodating nature, adding to the overall enjoyment of our evening.

For our Valentine’s Day dinner, everything was perfect. We started with the spicy shrimp appetizer, which was full of flavor and a good portion. For our entrées, I had the salmon and shrimp, while my wife chose the lamb chops, both dishes were absolutely delicious.

From the friendly hostesses to the attentive wait staff, every visit to Ruth’s Chris continues to exceed our expectations. Thank you to the entire team for making our dining experiences so memorable. This remains one of our favorite places for fine dining, and we can’t wait to return!

Walking in, we were greeted with some of the warmest and friendliest service I’ve ever experienced. Our server was attentive without being intrusive—always nearby when needed, yet never overbearing. Professional, personable, and genuinely kind, they made our dining experience seamless from start to finish. To top it off, the incredibly nice manager surprised us with complimentary desserts to take home—a gesture that truly reflects the exceptional hospitality here.

As for the food: absolutely outstanding. My spouse and I both ordered the Filet, and we were blown away by the flavor. Each steak had a perfectly seared crust and was cooked to absolute perfection—easily among the best I’ve ever had at a restaurant.

Side dishes were just as impressive. If you’re a fan of sweet potatoes, the sweet potato casserole is mind-blowing: whipped to a creamy consistency and topped with something magical that made every bite unforgettable. The au gratin potatoes were another standout—rich, flavorful, and deeply satisfying.

And then there’s the dessert. The chocolate sin cake is a must for any chocolate lover—decadent, dense, and downright divine.

While the meal was on the pricier side, every penny felt well spent. I left with zero complaints and a strong desire to return as soon as possible. This place is a gem!
