We really enjoyed our Pre Theatre dinner here on Friday evening. Everything we ordered was delicious, perfectly cooked and well seasoned. The calamari was a favourite.
Service was excellent. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. It’s definitely a place well visit again as it’s so well placed in the city centre and the menu is very good value.
Special thanks to the manager who sorted out my bill quickly and efficiently. Really appreciated.

We decided to have our Christmas dinner here, and the menu sounded rather nice. On entering the restaurant we felt at ease, and looked after. The staff were friendly, and attentive, and the food was very good. I had the Turkey, although not a huge fan, and the rest of the party had the duck. My meal to be honest was pretty good for a restaurant, and trust me I’m very critical when eating out. The duck dish everyone agreed was fantastic, and the deserts we equally as good. I have deducted 1 star, as always room for improvement. We will be back in 12 months

FOOD IS OKAY. SERVICE COULD BE BETTER. OVERPRICED & OVER RATED
We went to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. My dishes were okay, I would recommend the duck salad starter & duck al orange main.
The lamb dish is stingy, more onions & gravy rather than lamb and carrots were just boiled.
The service was okay we appreciated the honesty however there was no come back to our table to ask about our dishes and no goodbye when we were leaving.
After spending over £200, that’s something you don’t forget.
Overall food is not bad, but overpriced and the service is lacking. I will not be going back and will recommend Miller & Carter over Bistrot Pierre.

Very cozy and comfortable place! Service is good.

Cappuccino is so beautifully made. And dessert is awesome. If there is one tiny flaw, that might be the bit-chewy chicken.

This is a very good place to come, especially for 2, at Sundays for their wonderful set menu of Sunday Roast.

The atmosphere here is nice. It gets three stars for that, the wine list and the service which was decent. Only vegetarian option they had for a Christmas meal was a celeriac wellington. It was disgusting, pastry was undercooked and the insides tasted and smelt foul. I don’t know who’s idea it was to put that on the menu but they need a good talking to. I wouldn’t have minded too much if it wasn’t literally the only non-meat option and was pretty expensive. The starter was lackluster, mushroom stems and pesto that really didn’t taste of much at all. Won’t go back.

We visited on 23 February and were served by Yin and Gia. We couldn’t fault the food or the service. There were plenty of food options available and service was friendly and efficient. We enjoyed our meal and wouldn’t hesitate to return. The only slight downside is how close together some of the tables were, particularly around the edges of the room.

Thank you for making our Christmas Day so special. Your restaurant was run like clockwork, the food was outstanding and we didn’t want for anything. The waitresses were professional and attentive. My dad said it was the best turkey he’s ever eaten. We will definitely book for next year, but as regulars we will see you in 2026. Thanks again everybody.x

I booked a table at Bistrot Pierre for Valentine’s Day with my partner back in December. At that time, it was not an option to book the Valentine’s Day set menu, and I went with my partner expecting to be ordering from the normal menu, as there was no signage on their website nor in the restaurant itself hinting that anything was different from a normal dinner service, other than the availability of the Valentine’s Day menu.

As we were sat, the only menu on the table was the Valentine’s Day menu. I asked our server (who was lovely) if we could be given the standard menu, to which she said yes. We placed our orders as normal. Before long, our server returned very apologetically with our drinks, saying that unfortunately, only the special Valentine’s Day menu was available, which had none of the dishes my partner and I wanted order on it, and was double the price of a standard meal. After my partner and I had a discussion between ourselves, we apologised to our server, put on our coats, and left, having not touched any of the drinks provided.

The fact that the restaurant did not think to advise us on this front, nor plan for couples who may not have wanted their specialist menu to be served to them is very odd. It was an extremely disappointing experience, combined with the fact that I had planned to arrive months in advance, and that it’s obviously nearly impossible to find a table for two on the evening of Valentine’s Day. Luckily, we had a very nice dinner elsewhere.

I do not recommend booking any special occasion at this restaurant, provided you don’t want to double the size of your bill with only half of the food options available to you.

First ate lunch here in 2005. It was fab then as it was recently. The food was amazing and a great choice for a lunch 3 course. £20.
I give 4 starts, but I’d say 4.5 as it was warm, but not HOT. But delicious. The chocolate mousse was excellent.
My guests also thoroughly enjoyed their meals. We will return.
