Had a great time, very nice and ambient atmosphere, had a private dining area, our host was very attentive and friendly, the staff overall seemed to work well together. The food, although the pics don’t do it justice, tasted really good and was seasoned well. Our salmon was juicy and paired well with the potatoes and brussel sprouts. The sweet potato crunch is definitely one of the best I’ve had.

From our seating it was great! Quinton brought us fresh baked bread. Our waiter got our orders correct. Excellent food. We had the filet with shrimp. Lobster Mac and cheese with the Cesar salad.

Saturday night visit…. did not have a reservation but we typically eat in the bar. Asked and was told that tables in the bar area are first/come, first/served and there were four open. So, we were seated immediately.

Server was attentive. Food runners would bring food but not remove dishes so, we were lucky that our booth was large enough to accommodate more than one course.

App: Mushrooms with stuffed crab and garlic. There was so much garlic that it overpowered the delicate crab flavor and the mushrooms were underdone.

We (wife and I) each ordered the 3 for $60 offering.

She had soup of the day, NO gumbo, it was a good balance of consistency and flavor. Size was much larger than expected. I had the Caesar salad, and it was HUGE. It was WAY overdressed. Tons of parmesan and dressing, decent number of croutons and 1.5 cherry tomatoes that were about the size of my thumbnail. Head scratcher.

Both steaks were cooked perfectly medium rare. My plate was sizzling but my wife’s was not. The shrimp was on top of the steak and Cajun spiced (ish). Could have gone without spices and served cold, can’t ding them for that, just my thought.

Sides, Garlic Mashed Potatoes and Creamed Spinach. The potatoes were not potatoes, they were flakes, there was no garlic and there was almost no taste and they were cool. I used the butter from the bread serving but that didn’t really help. The Spinach was creamed but not very tasteful. Both were largely uneaten.

We took the dessert home without sampling in the restaurant. Still haven’t tried it.

Tried to pay with gift card and after about 15 minutes the GM came to our table to let us know that he was unable to validate the card and/or the amount as it was older than their current gift cards. I understand but the card clearly states that it does not expire, I guess they just go extinct. Much like the quality and attention to detail that formerly high-end steak houses used to prime themselves.

Wonderful food. Perfectly cooked steak, the best lobster tail I’ve ever had. Cocktails were awesome! We had the stuffed mushrooms, crab cakes, and calamari and all were so delicious! Our server, Matt and bartender Dana were spot on, and the over all night was perfect. Will definitely be back and recommend to everyone!

Went for my daughter’s 17th birthday last night (her request). The food was great, we had the stuffed chicken, brussel sprouts, mashed potatoes, and the spicy shrimp appetizer(our favorite). Our server was so polite and accommodating. Thanks Ruth Chris for giving us a great experience.

Beyond AMAZING. All of their food is of high caliber and deliciously made to perfection.
The atmosphere is perfect and its very clean.
All of the staff go above and beyond expectations in order to make your meal and dining experience perfect.
They even have what I consider REAL dinner music.
Finally someone knows how to add a classy touch to their restaurant.
They deserve a much higher rating. I give them a 50 star rating. The best of the best.
The best in South Carolina. They also have a great bartender that knows how to make the best drinks.
On top of everything else and the most important is that they also have a great manager and I believe that a great manager is the key to having a great restaurant.
We highly recommend and will be back.

What a disappointment! Ruth must be rolling over in her grave. Used to be such an upscale restaurant no matter where you went, not anymore! Garlic potatoes served with the meal were cold! We’ve had better tasting filets at Longhorn. Waited almost 20 minutes for dessert. Our waitress Brittany was awesome and was the best part of the evening. Spend your money elsewhere

A Culinary Delight with Exceptional Service

From the moment we walked into Ruth’s Chris Steak House at the Crowne Plaza, the bar staff and wait staff welcomed us with warm smiles and attentive service. The ambiance was inviting, setting the stage for a memorable dining experience.

The grilled pork chop was the star of the evening – succulent and perfectly seasoned, it was a testament to the chef’s expertise. The mashed potatoes were creamy and comforting, a classic side that paired beautifully with the main course. The asparagus added a fresh, crisp contrast, while the stuffed mushrooms were a delightful burst of flavor that complemented the other dishes wonderfully.

But let’s not forget the wedge salad – crisp, fresh, and dressed to impress. It was the perfect opener to our culinary journey.

Kudos to the entire team at Ruth’s Chris for their exceptional service. It’s not just the food that makes a restaurant great, but the people who bring it to life. We’ll definitely be returning for more!

I’ve eaten at a ton of these places and this is by far the oldest. It feels like a Ryan’s inside compared to the incredible ones I’ve been in from Nashville to most recently? Winter Park Fla. You’d never know this is a high end Steakhouse. Service is very slack. I sat here for the longest and she’s barely attentive to me. I’m by myself. So I had already looked at the menu before I came and decided I’ll start with this Ravioli appetizer and it might wind up being my meal. Compare the way it came out to the photos. This looked so unappealing it’s as though the cook got frustrated and slapped heaps of sauce on this place then threw it under the broiler. Super salty also. But for a 24.00 appetizer? At least make a decent presentation! So yeah I’m thankful they’re open and glad to eat since I haven’t eaten since this morning but I will not be back to this location
