I gave my patronage by getting bagels from here. I wasn’t intentionally giving them patronage, I was just in the mood for bagels and this place had them. They were giving me patronage by supplying bagels.
I didn’t know what “patronage” meant until I got a bag from here that said, “THANK YOU! FOR YOUR PATRONAGE”. I’m not sure if I’m using “patronage” correctly, but if I keep using it, I’m bound to get the hang of it. Thank you Rutherford Bagels for the patronage from your bagels and your patronage in supplying me with a better vocabulary.

I’ll keep it short and sweet: this place has some amazing bagels for amazing prices. Only $1.25 for a bagel. I had their Everything and it was perfect. Go there yourself and check it out. I really miss NJ/NY bagels!!!!

I try to come here every week. It’s nice to have just a “normal” deli in town, especially on the west side. (As you can see from my reviews, I’m not a fan of hype over practicality ). Staff is friendly and they get to know you, and care about you as their customer. Bagels are good of course – and I like that their burgers are not huge. It’s silly, but I got excited when they started selling rainbow bagels. Prices are reasonable given the state of prices in general. It’s much better coming here for a normal meal than paying for an expensive restaurant on Park Ave.

Been coming here 20 years with my people. Food has always been solid. Recently however, the service has gone down. Last time I was in there, I was treated awful and spoken about in a foreign language. Cantonese or Mandarin, this is no way to treat people. Service is on a downhill spiral. Won’t be coming back.

Just went there before heading home from church. Ordered two breakfast sandwiches and both were wrong. My bagel sandwich wasn’t toasted, no cheese and a not so generous portion of Taylor ham. The sandwich on a hard roll also a very small portion of Taylor ham. In today’s world you live and learn. So this place gets a check mark in the never to return list. Things cost way too much to waste my money.

This owner charges $15 plus fees for a debit card for 12 stale plan bagels that he reheats. Terrible customer service. He gave me 12 random bagels when I asked for 12 plain bagels. Don’t go to this store!

I don’t like to leave low review ratings but I’m trying to stay honest and get a good quality food what I paid for. Customers service here is not bad but they never apologized for my wrong order.
I ordered to pick up via UberEats, I received a notification that my order is ready so I went to this place and waited another 5 minutes because place was busy. When I asked about my order they started rushing because they never even started it, so I had to wait around 8-10 minutes to get my order of two sandwiches. So I got my order and when I opened one of my sandwiches in the car it was “ketchup and black pepper missing”. I added it and I still have in my order history that I did customized it, I don’t mind to put it myself but I was in such a rush and if it’s so convenient to use an app where you can just request such a thing, I don’t understand why this simple thing was missing.
I returned back to this place and showed them my sandwich and said it’s missing ketchup and black pepper, the lady just handed me a ketchup and went to check my order if I was right or wrong, so she saw I was right and she made pretend I’m not there anymore and I never got my apologies. I don’t think I’m ever returning to this place again.
