Reviews
The service was excellent. Our waitress Gungun helped us decide what to eat, took great care of us during our visit, and split the bills for our group.
The interior design of the restaurant is really elegant and aesthetically pleasing. Some of the single-person seats had some dust & debris on them, so they could have been cleaner. The music playing over the speakers was nice, but was just a bit too loud for my friends and me.
Overall, I’d recommend a visit if you’re looking for some delicious North Indian food, solid service, and you like or don’t mind Indian music playing on the speakers.
The service was okay. We ordered a bottle of white wine and had to ask the server for a bucket of ice (it should be served with the bottle). He also tried to sell us the only bottle of red wine, saying it was $70, but we know a bottle like that would usually cost around $100 in a restaurant, so we felt like we might have been charged more. Also, the drinks are really expensive, that’s the main reason we got a bottle of wine.
The music was loud. We were the only ones in the restaurant, so it didn’t need to be THAT loud. Maybe 10 customers arrived as we were leaving around 11 p.m., so it might be more of a nightlife vibe.
The staff were extremely polite, well-mannered, and welcoming, which always adds to the overall experience. Everyone we interacted with was courteous and professional. The only small drawback was that at times we had to wait a bit longer for someone to pass by so we could call them, which slightly interrupted the flow of service. That said, the staff were attentive once approached and very willing to help.
When our food arrived, everything looked beautifully presented. Our pasta, however, arrived without salt, which can happen, but what really stood out was how promptly and gracefully the staff handled it. As soon as we mentioned it, they immediately brought salt and ensured we were comfortable—no hesitation, no awkwardness, just genuine concern for our dining experience. The rest of the meal was enjoyable and well-prepared, with flavors that reflected the restaurant’s fine-dining standards.
One of the highlights of the evening for us personally was how peaceful and baby-friendly the atmosphere felt. We were dining with our 2-month-old baby, and she slept comfortably throughout our entire dinner. That alone speaks volumes about the calm, soothing vibe of the restaurant—something not every fine-dining place manages to achieve.
Overall, Rutba offers a lovely dining experience with great ambience, courteous staff, and quality food. Minor service delays aside, the professionalism and warmth of the team made up for it. It’s a wonderful spot for a relaxed evening, whether you’re dining as a couple, with family, or even with a little one in tow. We left feeling satisfied and would certainly consider visiting again.
The only downside was the wait time after placing my order — it took about 15–20 minutes before the food arrived. But considering how fresh and delicious everything tasted, it felt worth the wait.
Overall, I’m really impressed with this spot. It definitely lived up to the expectations I had from the menu and photos. I’d happily come back again on my next visit!
Service was quick.
All the servers were amazing they’re doing such a great job. The food was so good. We had house special Chicken(forgot the name of the actual dish), shahi paneer and drinks. Interior, the lighting, tables everything was so good.
Thankyou for extra shots
I didn’t take pictures of food. Was too hungry lol.
Well definitely would go back. Bravo to the manager and all the servers you guyz are good at your job and very professional.
((Idk why there’s negative reviews like about prices and all. My opinion low balls should go to food trucks. They dont have to come here like if you expecting 5$ food don’t come here simple as that. Coz we were group of 5 people and they handled it well)))
If you’re a couple, don’t expect much attention. Their priority clearly seems to be groups of four or more. We didn’t even get water at our table for 40 minutes. When the server finally came, she simply said, “Sorry, I forgot.”
We ordered dal makhani, special butter chicken, and garlic naan. The naan was good. Everything else? Extremely sweet. All the gravies tasted like the same sugary base. I took one bite of the butter chicken and didn’t touch it again. Burnt naan.
The ambience is beautiful, no doubt. But with so many tables and only two waiters, service suffers badly.
We ended up leaving most of our food untouched and went to Dosa Boys instead to actually enjoy a proper meal.
Very disappointing experience, especially on a special occasion.
We also ordered malai chaap, which was perfectly marinated and cooked — honestly the first time I’ve tasted it done so well. Since we wanted something less spicy, the host went above and beyond and served us paneer butter masala even though it wasn’t on the menu. Truly appreciated that gesture!
We wrapped up with dessert, which was delicious as well. Overall, the food quality was excellent with no compromises — portions were a little on the smaller side and the pricing leans towards the expensive side, just saying .
The ambience is elegant and upscale, with a welcoming atmosphere. They have live music during the evening hrs. The restaurant is also well maintained, and the convenience of ample parking is definitely an added bonus.
A special mention to Neel, who served our table, was warm, attentive, and brought a positive energy. Vakul ensured that every table received attention, reflecting the team’s genuine commitment to hospitality.
On the flip side, the service was a little slow, though understandable for a new establishment, and the portion sizes were slightly smaller than the general standards. Both are areas that can be improved as the restaurant grows.
Overall, this place is certainly worth a visit for its diverse menu, upscale ambience, and heartfelt service.
