Great customer service and very high quality presentation and food quality definitely delivers!!!! A very sweet young lady was very helpful with drink and menu recommendations!!! My daughter is very picky and she was amazed and impressed with the food quality and flavor!!! Highly recommended. We ordered mando habanero aguachiles, tacos al pastor, and Baja tacos!!!

If I can give this place 10 stars I would in a heartbeat!! food was 10/10 came out hot and fresh ! the drinks and live music went great together I reserved a table for 20 and the service was really attentive to us all night. Highly recommend this place to anyone who loves Mariscos will be coming again for all our special occasions!

We found our new spot for sure! The customer service was on point from the time we walked in, until the time we left. Allie took care of us in every way possible. The food was amazing and it tasted fresh. Trust me, you will not be disappointed.

We stopped by Ruta Del Mar Mariscos Bar and Grill and were so glad we did! I had the Caldo de Camarón, and it was absolutely delicious—rich flavor and packed with shrimp. My wife ordered the chilaquiles, and they were amazing as well—definitely a standout dish. The food was even better than we expected, and we’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend! Oh and bottomless Mimosa were great!

Stopped by on a Friday night for a dinner date with wifey and had the best time. Súper amables staff, live música was great, and the food was delicioso. The Mar y Tierra with camarones a la plancha and carne asada was jugoso y lleno de sabor. Definitely our new go-to spot!

Super cute Mexican restaurant! Drinks tasted really good. The mangonada was delicious. They had a special on margaritas too. I believe they are fairly new, but this area definitely needs a restaurant like this. Go check it out and support local!

Hidden Gem in Portland ! Ruta Del Mar is Bringing the Heat with Real Mariscos Flavor
Right when I walked in, I got hit with good vibes. The place is clean, has a cool coastal/banda feel, and the staff made me feel welcome right away. Music was bumping but not overwhelming, and the tables were spotless. First impression is solid !
I ordered the Mar y Tierra as well as the Molcajete, and everything tasted super fresh. You can tell the seafood is legit — not that frozen, rubbery stuff. Flavors were bold, spicy where they needed to be, and the presentation was clean.
One standout was the Molcajete — perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The michelada was too — cold, spicy, and rimmed perfectly.
Staff was super friendly and helpful with the menu. Even with a few people in line, I didn’t wait long, and they checked in once food came out. Could tell they actually cared about the customer experience, which goes a long way.
Tables and floors were clean, bathrooms were stocked and fresh. Music set the right mood — felt like I was back in Mexico by the beach. A great place to bring friends, or even come solo and enjoy a beer.
Ruta Del Mar is the real deal if you’re into fresh, authentic Mariscos. Great food, great energy, and definitely worth supporting if you’re in the Portland area. I’ll be back soon for sure.

Loved it! Everything was amazing. My son and daughter got the Quesabirria and they ate them so fast I couldn’t get a pic! Super good food, great portions, and the atmosphere is a vibe in itself. Our server Aly/Alley (spelling) was a complete gem…ask her for dish recommendations if you’re on the fence…she was spot on and attentive to our group. This is one of my new faves.

Went in on a Friday night for my wife’s birthday service was really good server kept checking in on us making sure we were ok. Food was amazing ordered the molcajete one of the best I’ve had in PNW ! Experience was amazing overall owner had the grupo sing happy birthday to my wife and brought her a dessert for her birthday.
