We love this place! It is small, cozy and amazing! We’ve sat on the back patio during the high season, but sat inside this time. They do not do reservations and have very few tables, so arrive early and be prepared to wait a little bit. Fantastic whiskey selection, excellent craft cocktails to rival anything in a larger city. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and quirky. The atmosphere is awesome. We always get the almonds, olives and pretzels. The food selection is small but delicious and there are vegetarian options. I’ve done the lobster bisque in the past and it’s great. This time we had mac and cheese, also excellent. The shortbread and dipping sauces are to die for. Even for those that typically don’t like dessert.

Chip welcome us like we were family. We ate, we laughed, we will be coming back again! The Mac n cheese was so good and whiskey sour was to die for! I’m so happy we found this spot. Don’t hesitate to stop by and sit by the fire! 10/10 will be recommending to everyone I know!

MacGregor’s was a highlight of our trip to the coast, can’t wait to go back. The friendly and knowledgeable staff were fantastic as well as everything we tried, including the Old Fashioned, Dark Cherry Whiskey Sour, and pastrami charcuterie board. Definitely take a chance and try the Bartender’s Choice drink option; after asking a few simple questions, they create a custom drink to your tastes. Great drinking/dining experience, this is a must-try if you’re in the area!

A great little place to explore a wide selection of whiskeys. It’s nice to be able to sample so many different whiskeys without having to buy the whole bottle. They also offer a fantastic variety of lite fare to go along with your libations.

We’re glad we stopped here for a drink after an evening walk on the beach. The bartender made a non-alcoholic lemonade for my friend and an old-fashioned for me. Food menu is brief, but everything was delicious—soft pretzel, portobello pastie, chickpea and lentil stew. We enjoyed sitting on the back patio. Best of all the server was fun, engaging, and helpful—she made our experience 5 stars.

You walk in from a rainy cold night to a small, but cozy bar. The owner takes your coat and hangs it for you. You are welcomed to a menu that has so many amazing choices. The owner is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The staff is friendly as well and honest about what they might not know. The food is well paired and excellent. The decor is nice and it’s all very clean. No rush here. Amazing place! Would definitely recommend.
