Street style tacos, breakfast tacos, fresh chips, queso, guacamole, and salsas made fresh everyday are what we are all about! Our name Rusty Taco comes from our founder, Rusty Fenton who was passionate about food and had a dream to open a neighborhood taco stand. That dream came true when our first restaurant opened in in in 2010 in Dallas, TX. Stop by and grab a seat, some tacos, and kick back with one of our not so famous Rusty Margarita’s, because as Rusty always said, “Tacos Are The Most Important Meal of the Day®!

It’s one thing if the place is slammed with customers but there was literally 2 other people in the place and they were already eating. Is it that hard to read the order and prepare what I asked for? On top of it, I called to let them know and the “manager” said he helped prep the order. This place isn’t going to last long so if you’re looking for some shitty food. Rush down to Rusty’s Tacos and pick something random on the menu. Why random? Well because you likely aren’t going to get what you picked anyways so why bother.
they were very accepting of me coming in 30 minutes before close and i had a larger order of 50 bucks.
it warms my heart that despite the place being a chain restaurant it seemed as if i was truly at home like i said earlier in my review.
i will ALWAYS give them my business and will most certainly recommend this specific location over others.
the manager on duty that night, miles, helped me with ordering and reading the menu because i had misplaced my glasses. he gave recommendations on some of the food i ordered and was very nice.
in my 48 years of living i have never experienced such great customer service ❤️
the food is not even warm maybe a tiny bit. Really disappointed will not be back. And if your smart I would not waste money here. Very bad service and ridiculous prices for small amounts of food.
Great employees make great food even better, thank you for welcoming us in before close and being so awesome and helpful! We will definitely be returning and may have found our new weekly dinner spot. 🙂
I really like this place, im a bit of a regular. The problem is portion consistency and service time. When certain crews are working all the sides and everything are filled to the brim and portions are great but then it takes an unreasonable amount of time even when ordering ahead. But when other crews are working like the ones tonight they gave me I believe a smaller container for my sides and only filled it maybe 25% way up but service time was very quick. This is the bad, but there is a lot of good. Food is very good and just different than a lot of other places which is a good thing. The team members are always very nice and the prices now that they’ve gotten the combo meal are very reasonable. Id recommend this place to anyone I think they just need more training for their staff honestly.
I ordered the Texican as a taco bowl. It was roughly on par with a taco salad from a high school cafeteria. Was it awful or revolting? No- it was perfectly edible. But that’s it. Compared to a salad from Cafe Rio it falls well short. For ten bucks I would hope to find something a bit more pleasing to the palate.
Decor looks like they borrowed a page from the Dickie’s play book. A/C was a bit cold and the soundtrack was straight contemporary country- an odd choice for a taco joint in my opinion.
