That dream came true when our first restaurant opened in in in 2010 in Dallas, TX. So delicious! I must say I was skeptical based on the reviews but my husband really wanted Birria tacos. We live in North Ogden so there’s not many options available. We made a togo order online and it was ready for us when we arrived. I’m vegan so I made modifications to make the veggie fajita taco vegan, and it was so flavorful and delicious even without the cheese and sauce! My husband absolutely loved his Birria tacos as well. Definitely give this place a try!

The food here is not to bad when they can actually put it all together. Ordered Nachos, this is what they gave me. Chips with some meat on top, nothing else and noting provided in bag. Corn dip we ordered was cold and thick like concrete. We try to support local since we live in Pleasant View but this place is way too inconsistent. Gonna have to go back to Costa Vida and Cafe Rio.

First and last time at this place. Ordered online, drove 2 cities North to pick it up. Just to get home and find out my order is missing the 2 ordered of street corn and 2 of the 4 tacos ordered were not even what I ordered. If you like guacamole, don’t get it at this place. Not only is it brown, but it has ZERO flavor. Tastes like you’re eating mashed up avocado. No salt, clearly no lime to help keep it from turning brown. It doesn’t look like anything they serve is fresh. Oh, nice… my son just pointed out he’s also missing his drink.
It’s one thing if the place is slammed with customers but there was literally 2 other people in the place and they were already eating. Is it that hard to read the order and prepare what I asked for? On top of it, I called to let them know and the “manager” said he helped prep the order. This place isn’t going to last long so if you’re looking for some shitty food. Rush down to Rusty’s Tacos and pick something random on the menu. Why random? Well because you likely aren’t going to get what you picked anyways so why bother.

went here a couple days ago, the staff was incredibly nice and made me feel like i was eating tacos at my grandparents house. the service was great and i really enjoyed my food.

they were very accepting of me coming in 30 minutes before close and i had a larger order of 50 bucks.

it warms my heart that despite the place being a chain restaurant it seemed as if i was truly at home like i said earlier in my review.
i will ALWAYS give them my business and will most certainly recommend this specific location over others.

the manager on duty that night, miles, helped me with ordering and reading the menu because i had misplaced my glasses. he gave recommendations on some of the food i ordered and was very nice.

in my 48 years of living i have never experienced such great customer service ❤️

Let’s begin with the dirty look my son got walking in at 10:40 ish at night I was with him but stayed in the car. Then move on to almost 40 dollars for food that is small compared to other places that are way less money and way better food. Then I am only ruffly 5 to 7 mins from the restaurant to my home I get home and
the food is not even warm maybe a tiny bit. Really disappointed will not be back. And if your smart I would not waste money here. Very bad service and ridiculous prices for small amounts of food.

Cute place and yummy food! While the food is tasty, it is definitely overpriced. Street taco starts around $5 – 6. The flavor combinations are fun, but if you’re looking for authentic this probably isn’t the place for you. I’d compare it the cuisine at rio or costa, delicious but definitely an Utah spin!

I did not catch one of their names, but Kyle and I believe the manager working on Saturday night 1/18 were SO helpful and amazing. It was our first time visiting and the manager was very accommodating and helpful with recommendations and explaining. Kyle was so excited to make us Birria tacos he even said “I think Christmas came early!” and opened the box for us to see the tacos after he made them. He does not lie – they are his specialty! Seriously some of the best (if not the best) Birria with the best flavor EVER!!! Solid portions and the consommé is equally delicious. We got chips and queso as well as a churro and everything was sooo good.

Great employees make great food even better, thank you for welcoming us in before close and being so awesome and helpful! We will definitely be returning and may have found our new weekly dinner spot. 🙂

I came here on opening day excited and full of curiosity. The menu options are super unique and exciting. I was not disappointed in any shape. The flavor profile on each taco is so exquisite and suspenseful in each bite you can tell they take this as an art form. I’m so excited to come back and try more menu options.

Update: since this review they have worked on service times and food consistency. From my experience things have changed for the better

I really like this place, im a bit of a regular. The problem is portion consistency and service time. When certain crews are working all the sides and everything are filled to the brim and portions are great but then it takes an unreasonable amount of time even when ordering ahead. But when other crews are working like the ones tonight they gave me I believe a smaller container for my sides and only filled it maybe 25% way up but service time was very quick. This is the bad, but there is a lot of good. Food is very good and just different than a lot of other places which is a good thing. The team members are always very nice and the prices now that they’ve gotten the combo meal are very reasonable. Id recommend this place to anyone I think they just need more training for their staff honestly.

4/10 – do not recommend.

I ordered the Texican as a taco bowl. It was roughly on par with a taco salad from a high school cafeteria. Was it awful or revolting? No- it was perfectly edible. But that’s it. Compared to a salad from Cafe Rio it falls well short. For ten bucks I would hope to find something a bit more pleasing to the palate.

Decor looks like they borrowed a page from the Dickie’s play book. A/C was a bit cold and the soundtrack was straight contemporary country- an odd choice for a taco joint in my opinion.
