From house-made salsas and warm, house-made chips to slow-braised meats and hand-chopped toppings, every ingredient is prepped fresh daily to deliver bold, real flavor in every bite. That dream came true when our first restaurant opened in in in 2010 in Dallas, TX. Stop by and grab a seat, some tacos, and kick back with one of our not so famous Rusty Margarita’s, because as Rusty always said “Tacos Are The Most Important Meal of the Day®!”

This is not Mexican food. It’s not even Tex Mex. It’s truly some sort of fast food abomination much like Taco Bell created to off to give the appearance of Mexican cuisine but engineered to maximize profits. I ordered two breakfast tacos, bacon and chorizo. The egg was some type of heavily peppered egg mixture precooked and scooped into a mediocre tortilla then topped with each respective ingredient and sprinkled with shredded cheese. I suppose you could call it a deconstructed taco since nothing was cooked together but I call it lazy.

i’m definitely a regular at this location; I come weekly for their taco Tuesday deal (which is pretty good/3 bucks a taco). Mo is the best — he runs a fantastic ship and this location is literally always on its game. He’s also just such a genuine and personable guy. The service from the whole staff is also always so welcoming.

Also the food is in fact good

Highly recommend

Update: This was my 2nd x for take out (same order) & it was a bit greasy w/ less food. The 1st order of Texican Bowl w/ ground beef was great! Good for quick bite on the go, minus greasiness.

First time ever having this place and it was amazing. The man I took our order was so nice and kind, and the food was even better. The chips and queso was to die for the chips were so warm and the queso was perfectly seasoned. Not too runny not too thick. I had al Pastor tacos and let me just say it’s some of the best I’ve ever had I will definitely be back

Great breakfast. I was in Dallas for an appointment and this was within walking distance. The food was great. Prepared quickly and food was hot. Employees were helpful and friendly. Definitely considerer eating here again if I’m in the area. The restroom was a bit different, but worked.

You’ve got to get you about 4 of the Baja shrimp. You’re gonna think all you can eat is 2, but that ain’t right. All you SHOULD eat is 2. But what you have to do, what your gonna do, is go back for 2 more and be a little too full for a while. Because, buddy… Wow. I went at about 9 pm and the night crew, as is typical of a Rusty Taco, killed it. Can’t recommend enough.

The tacos were good! Lots of flavor and very very enjoyable. I am incredibly displeased with the pricing. I feel that for the size of the taco, I shouldn’t have to pay $3.5… 2.50 is what I would be expecting from a breakfast taco this size. Overall the service was good and the taco was pleasant.

Everything was good but the cashier told me we were not allowed to turn the TV to cartoons for my 3 year old because of corporate policy. The place was mostly empty and no one was watching the TV. I guess this is not a family friendly place.

Had high hopes after seeing the reviews, but it was just ok. We arrived by 4:30 to avoid any rush, but it was clear that they do a tremendous amount of take-out and appeared to be short handed. However, the 2 young ladies who were working were busting their moves to help the take-out and dine in employees. The tables needed to be cleaned, but they were too busy with the take out orders, and I don’t fault them. As for the food, I got 2 tacos, an egg and cheese on flour tortilla (I know wierd), but it was actually pretty good, and I also got the picadiilo taco which was supposed to be spicy ground beef and potatoes, onion and cilantro. The meat was not spicy, found one potato, and almost no cilantro, so it was lacking. My husband got 3 tacos, not worth mentioning, except for the fried chicken taco, and it was very good! We also tried the appetizer sampler – chips, guacamole, salsa and queso. All just meh. I love support local businesses, but it just didn’t impress me, except for the girls who were working!!
