Very Rural / Country / Railroad feel, particularly with a real train passing by once or twice while we ate. The food was FANTASTIC! This is home of the BEST BURGERS anywhere in our region…and we have a number of great Burger restaurant venues in NE Ohio. The Rusty Railz in tiny, historic Clinton, OH is full of rustic atmosphere, amazing food (TRY a basic loaded Cheeseburger) and refreshing service…even gratitude. Two dear friends of my Wife and I invited me out for Lunch at the Rusty Railz (the Bar). I don’t drink but I savor a great eatery, especially one with old fashioned excellent service and high quality, fresh food. The French fries were excellent, too! I had coffee and the Server kept my cup full. This place is a throwback to the past, including VERY competitive menu pricing.

If you’re traveling through, don’t let the location fool you. Rusty Railz may be tucked away in the corner of a small town, but it is well worth the stop. The food is solid, service was great, and the prices can’t be beat. I came through with a coworker, we both got full meals and a couple beers each. Out the door for less than $40. I highly recommend anyone stop by at least once to check things out themselves.

This is a local hole in the wall bar and grill. It is right next to the CSX tracks. Trains pass pretty close to the building. The inside is pretty average, beer signs on the walls and a pool table near the back of the bar. The bar seats around twelve or so.
We sat at the bar. Our bartender was friendly and attentive. Service was good today. They have around a dozen beers in bottles, mostly domestics, and a few can selections. They also have a full selection of liquor.
Today’s special were burgers for $5 bucks. You just can not beat that price. This was a half pound patty loaded with onion, lettuce, and pickle. It was juicy and good. I had it with Memphis slaw. This is a vinegar based slaw with a bit of a pepper bite. It was also very good. Drinks, sides, and burgers for two, and under $20. Great price for lunch.

The burgers and fries were great. The server was busy but friendly. I was just overall confused about how seating and meals and payment works; you go in and it’s loud, and there are a few tables with no indication about where you could or should sit (you can pretty much sit anywhere that’s open lol). Then I didn’t know if they brought the check or if I had to go to the bar (I ended up going to the bar to pay). I’m not necessarily complaining about the dining experience – I just didn’t know what I was expected to do

Friday is deep fried fish delicious and plentiful but usually sells out., and karaoke at 8. Welcoming atmosphere from the attentive staff and regulars and the down home country vibe is very fun filled and reasonably priced.

I ordered the THUNDER burger with fries . It was delicious. The burger was juice and loaded with chili and jalapeños.The price was great too 13.50 ( includes unlimited ice tea) . I highly recommend this establishment.

We have been customers there for years. We especially love the HUGE burgers on Tuesdays burger night. My husband loves the salads and Philly’s that they have. The waitresses are super friendly and always happy to see everyone! This restaurant is tucked away in the small town of Clinton. They’ve painted and redecorated and it looks amazing on the restaurant side!
