Reviews
The owner is incredibly friendly and welcoming, especially with children. My kids absolutely love this restaurant and constantly talk about coming back for their favorite dishes. From the moment you walk in, you feel a warm, home-like environment that makes you want to stay longer.
Their Asian menu is outstanding, with the pho easily ranking as the #1 Vietnamese dish in the area. Rusty Pelican offers great food, genuine hospitality, and a family-friendly experience that keeps guests coming back.
However, in this town, Rusty Pelican is a good breakfast/brunch option due to its menu variety and long serving hours.
Terrific experience!
This was our first time eating at The Rusty Pelican in Long Beach MS, and we absolutely loved it! I had seen online that their breakfast was really good, and it did not disappoint. The moment we walked in, it felt like home ! Warm, cozy, and welcoming. The atmosphere was so down-to-earth and inviting, like a little slice of Southern comfort.
The food tasted just like something you’d cook in your own kitchen on a Sunday morning — fluffy pancakes, creamy grits, perfectly cooked bacon, and eggs made just the way we like them. Everything was fresh and made with care. It was the kind of breakfast that just make your day!
We both left feeling so content and comforted like we had just shared a meal at a dear friend’s house. Everything about the experience was sweet, simple, and full of that homestyle charm we were hoping for. We will definitely be back!
