The service was great. Not the best catfish poboy I’ve had but certainly not the worst. The Cajun fries were delicious. We will be coming back for the beignets though. They were perfect!

We have been going to the Rusty Pelican my whole life! It is a very special place to my family and since moving out of the state, it is a tradition to go to breakfast on our way back home! Everything is amazing

This little gem offers southern American style breakfast with light Vietnamese cuisine for lunch. The food was delightful and the atmosphere was charming. Our server Melanie was the epitome of southern Mississippi hospitality. Great job!

They didn’t have everything we ordered but they didn’t tell is until after some of our party’s food was delivered. The child plate came out last – should have been first , it was certainly the easiest to prepare. Food was underwhelming. Service was slow. They were nice though. They were not busy so not sure why they took do long to greet us, then to take our orders. We had to ask for menus, flatware, napkins.

I was a little nervous about trying a poboy with tempura fried shrimp instead of traditional southern batter but it was really good. I haven’t eaten here in probably close to 5 years so it was like my first time.

I just spent 15 dollars for breakfast (no drink) and I asked for eggs over easy and they came put over hard. You’d think spending so much you’d get the food how you requested it but I guess not. Before they spiked their prices so outlandish they never messed up an order of mine, now their prices are wild and this is the third time In a row now that my eggs have come over hard and not easy. I will be going with another establishment for breakfast from now on sadly. Foods still good, but not for the prices and specificity that I want.

Perfect food while on a road trip! A friendly and clean restaurant with plenty of space, crayons and coloring books to keep little ones occupied while eating in the provided high chairs. Dozens of delicious food options from shrimp Po-boys to Vietnamese Pho and Barqs Root Bear. Excellent service, good food, clean tables and the food never arrives cold.

The philly cheese steak was good. Vietnamese coffee was definitely not Vietnamese coffee. Service was mediocre. Waitress seemed to have an attitude. I was super disappointed cause I heard it was really good
