Food was alright. The ribs were not as good as we heard about. The pork sandwich was really good. The service was okay. The dinning room was pretty empty, we didn’t really see the The server except a couple times. Not sure we’ll be back. The BBQ sauce variety is amazing! Pineapple, regular, smoke, (don’t remember what the the hot one is called. Spicy)

Stopped for a late lunch. We got our beers but the bartender was more interested in talking to an other customer than asking if we wanted food. We have eaten there before. But our once a year stop probably won’t happen anymore.

The ribs were tender and flavorful, and the original bbq sauce was wonderful. The portions were excellent for the price. We were happy with everything and glad we stopped in.

We got the tackle box for 4 with brisket. It was so good. Ribs were a dry rub with a bit of heat. The bbq sauce balanced it out perfectly. They did have spicy, smoke, original, pineapple, and cranberry sauces. Brisket was nice and tender. The chicken was juicy. Coleslaw was the diced cabbage variety and very good. Beans had a kick as well but not too much and had some of the smoked meats in it i belive for that extra touch. Cornbread muffins are extra sweet to compliment the jalapeños that are in them. Dont you worry they too were good. I have been searching for ribs like this for some time. Food was excellent.

We stopped by for a quick drink on our way back to the campground and ordered 1 beer and 1 mixed drink, the total was $14. I was kind of shocked at the price since the beer was Busch Light and the drink was just a vodka soda. Nothing fancy. The bartender wasn’t very engaging.There was free popcorn.

I had a delicious Bloody Mary here. The house- made battered dill pickle appetizer was very good. Cisco Kid sandwich was enjoyed as well as the chicken sandwich. Prices were fair and service was very good. We’ll definitely be back.

Sadly, this place is starting to go downhill. Our visits over the years have usually been good, but the last two visits were highly disappointing. Bartender was clueless and didn’t even know what bourbon was- I actually had to be behind the bar to help him identify what bourbon was on the rail or on the shelves. Place was quiet with only a few tables but took 10 minutes to get out order taken.
Food was awful. Baked fish was dry and rubbery, steamed shrimp was dry, and smoked chicken was pink in the middle.
Definitely would recommend avoiding this place until they get their act together.

Outstanding chicken, very moist. Some of the best I’ve had. Coleslaw, potatoes, and muffin were great as well. If your getting it to go ask for plastic ware, we did not and had to figure out how to eat it all by hand. Ended up bending the lids to make scoops. Will definitely be back again.
