It seems to be going well with new management. I was afraid the whole personality of the place was going to cater to young thugs from the way the music changed and was playing at 150 dB. It seems to be a bit more “normal ” again. The additional menu and hours are nice, really needed in Ft Payne.

This place has went down hill since the new owners got it. In the past, you could drive by on a Saturday night and the place would be absolutely packed now if you do the same, the place is barely busy at all. Rusty barrel used to have a really great vibe and crowd and overall great experience but now it’s totally different and I doubt it’ll ever be the same. Used to be a regular but doubt I’ll ever be back.

Was really hoping to like this place and we loved everything but the food. If you avoid the food (at least after 8p, not sure about earlier), you’ll love it. Had great live music, service was good, but we sincerely regretted ordering food before the kitchen closed. Uncooked fries and only half the bbq sandwich had a trace of meat. Just eat before you get here and you’ll be fine.

Been a regular for a bit, normally have good music and a friendly crowd but last night it was just tons of extremely vulgar (not talking about cussing) rap music and lots of people that didn’t even look 21 and some were even making tiktoks at the bar area. Really felt like it lost the vibe the place had, hoping it returns to normal.

Ain’t nobody gettin Salmonella, E. coli, Listeria, and Campylobacter up in the Barrel. That burger was pretty good, but the beef was COOKED. If they would just heat up the chili, a dollop of sour cream wouldn’t make it like it’s never seen heat…
