Cool place “on the lake”. Wasn’t crowded for dinner on a Tues. My Cuban sandwich was great and the lobster bisque was AMAZING! BIG chunks of ‘lob-stah’

Can I give it 6 stars?? It was so damn good. The inside is so damn cute. The filet bites melted in my mouth. The drinks were perfect, so good in fact I ordered 3 of the peppermint mocha. Cheese curds were on another level. The hostess was quick and friendly and chill.
Already planning on coming back

The place was everything I had hoped for, great food, service, and atmosphere. I was able to take in an appetizer, main course and dessert. The cheese curds were delicious with the spicy sauce, and the chicken caprese with brussels sprouts was perfect. The house made caramel cake with vanilla ice cream capped off the meal perfectly and everyone from a service standpoint did a great job.

I personally do not care for the new restaurant layouts, they are just loud!
Rusted Crow also had live music that borders on nails sliding down a chalkboard.
All that said…
The decor was absolutely excellent and the food was fresh and top notch. My burger was cooked perfectly and the salad was wonderful.
Service was a bit slow but it was friendly.
The owner stopped by and he was a great guy.
Definitely check this place out but expect it to be loud.

I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but my experience here really warrants one. I ordered the Cajun salmon, which the menu clearly describes as “Cajun seasoned with garlic tomatoes.” What I received was something entirely different—salmon covered in a balsamic glaze or sauce, which was not mentioned anywhere in the description. This isn’t just a preference issue—it’s misleading and not what I ordered.

When I brought this up, the shift lead Katie was dismissive and frankly rude. Instead of owning the mistake or offering a proper solution, she gave a mere 10% off ($2.70) and made it clear she didn’t care about the customer experience. For someone in a leadership position, it was disappointing to see such a lack of professionalism and empathy.

To be fair, our server was wonderful—very kind, attentive, and clearly good at her job. She’s the only reason this review isn’t even more harsh.

Still, I left hungry. No replacement or alternative was offered, and the manager made no effort to make things right. I work in customer service myself, and it’s frustrating to see people in leadership roles who don’t understand how to treat guests with basic respect and care.

I had high hopes for this place, but based on how poorly this situation was handled, I won’t be returning—and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who values transparency and respectful service.

Drinks were good. Pop seemed as if they had the syrup and co2 on the wrong mixture.
The food (only) at nearly seventy dollars for two adults and a kid was meh at best. They do have the best cheese bread we have ever had so I give them credit there. The Cuban and the salmon were like I said meh. The Cuban was cold and mushy. The salmon, seriously who puts Cajun, balsamic glaze with some cherry tomatoes all together. Gross combination of flavor. The other people with us ordered the nachos with extra meat. Receive very little extra and the meat looked like it was ran through a rinse cycle and didn’t cover more than half of the nachos.

Positives. The service was great. The atmosphere was good and the facility looks awesome.

Such a cool & creative atmosphere in this restaurant! One of best I’ve seen in a while locally. There’s really so much to look at! I was also so happy they have gluten-free items labeled. Wish all restaurants did this! I did end up getting a gluten-free bun for my burger, and even though it wasn’t my favorite bun (just kinda too big for my liking) the burger itself was delicious. Will likely just ask for a lettuce “bun” next time. Great service & we can’t wait to come back! My boyfriend couldn’t stop talking about how good his burger was (The BBQ Gouda Hog) even after we had left, lol. It was one of the menu items the waitress had suggested and I’m delighted he was so happy with it. He did think he got somewhat shorted on the tots though, (according to other review pics). Super cool place overall & we’re planning to return on one of the nights they have live music. Can’t wait!

Enjoyed the vibe and the food. Our server (Gerina) was attentive even though it was busy, shared some of the local Belleville and restaurant history, and made us feel welcome– not rushed.

The Brussels sprouts salad was amazing: perfectly cooked sprouts, great balance of savory and sweet between the PB vinaigrette and dried cranberries.
Philly pizza was another win: peppers nicely cooked without being overdone, meat crisped nicely and the dough was the right amount of chewy and caramelized at rhe edges. Willow Run (pepperoni) was delicious, but after trying the Philly… I’d have to choose the cheese steak pizza again.

Cool spot, hot & fresh food, fun mixed drink options. I’ll be back to try the wings I saw at another table and then again for the PB&J burger!

We love the Dearborn location, so we were hoping the Belleville location would be a hit. It started off great, our waitress was polite and bubbly. However, the hostess was very unprofessional and unwelcoming, and even after sitting us down, would intervene, ruining our experience. Also, a few people in our group did not enjoy their food, saying the onion rings were some of the worst they have ever tried, but their burger was ok. / The chicken Wrap was decent, my Ruben was a little soggy, leaving the tacos as the best food dish out of all that we had tried. The drinks were pretty good. We had a few different ones, with my favorite being the Lemon on a Pear. Overall, a mix of highs and lows. But if you’re in the Belleville area, Rusted Crow might still be worth a visit — just cross your fingers for a better experience than we had.

We had a wonderful dining experience at the rusted crow (group of 4). Kudos to the owner (whom we met during our visit) on the decor and atmosphere of the restaurant. The booths are made from authentic Ford motor company parts bins, very creative. The service and food were on point and were as advertised. We will definitely patronize the rusty crow in the future. You can see the passion for success, great job….keep up the good work.
