It’s also a very family-friendly spot. On Sundays, you’ll see families gathered together, and kids eat free, which makes it a perfect weekend outing. Great food, great value, and a welcoming atmosphere—definitely worth checking out!
Their crust is perfectly crispy but never too hard, and the sauce is flavorful without overpowering the cheese (which is always bubbling just right). Whether you grab a classic slice or go for one of their specialty pies, you won’t be disappointed.
I love that this spot feels safe, welcoming, and family-friendly while still giving solo diners and couples a chill place to enjoy good food. Russo’s is the kind of place that reminds you why pizza night is always a good idea.
10/10 recommend. Support this spot — it’s the kind of small business that’s holding it down for the culture, one slice at a time.
We got the Hawaiian pizza, and it was delicious. Nearly perfect.
The crust was crispy and crunchy around the edges, with no plastic tasting cheese and not overloaded with sauce. The ingredients tasted natural and high quality.
The pizza slices are decent, but not enough to make up for the rest. And then there was the coffee debacle: we were told it would take a bit because it had to be brewed fresh — fine, no problem. But after patiently waiting, we were served cold coffee. That’s not just careless, it’s inexcusable.
Service was fair, considering our server was the only one working and the place got busier toward the end. Still, walking in to find the bartender already drinking wine at the bar didn’t exactly set the tone for a professional dining experience.
Overall, Russo’s on Gray is better suited for a quick slice to go than for any kind of sit-down meal. The food lacks care, the details are neglected, and the atmosphere feels indifferent. I genuinely wish they’d step up their game — but based on what I’ve seen, I’m not holding my breath
