We had a neighborhood social there several times…perfect atmosphere.. love the Vibe, the waitress was sweet as ever and right on it. The cocktails and food were delicious. I had the Ceasar salad with blackened chicken..and everyone at the table enjoyed their food! We will be back for sure.

Stepping inside, you’re immediately struck by the clever juxtaposition of a renovated older building with a sleek, contemporary interior. During my visit, the restaurant was packed, yet the energy was vibrant and welcoming, creating an atmosphere that felt genuinely alive. This lively vibe, however, didn’t compromise the quality of service.
Our server, Chris, was a standout. He was fast, accurate, and consistently courteous, navigating the bustling dining room with apparent ease. The speed at which our food arrived was truly impressive, especially considering the crowd. We sampled a variety of dishes, each exceeding expectations. The burgers were juicy and flavorful, the Cajun chicken Alfredo was rich and satisfying, the wings with barbecue sauce were perfectly cooked and sauced, and even the humble tater tots were executed with a certain finesse. The Rusk Salad, with its fresh greens, perfectly blackened chicken, and tangy balsamic vinaigrette, was a particular highlight – a refreshing and well-balanced choice.

First time here and will not return. The service was awful. The hostess was more helpful than our waiter. They never came back to check on our food or drinks and when we were finished they only asked if we were paying together or separate. They were clearly not busy and just focusing on doing their side work the whole time. I should not have tipped but of course they stood there as we paid and acted super sweet. The food was ok. However, there are plenty of restaurants in this genre that have way better service.

Love the atmosphere it definitely a Vibe. They have a great bourbon selection drinks and food were very good and cooked properly. Those at the table with salads they look so fresh and delicious. My blue and black burger was very good if I had to say anything the loaded tots were so so don’t have to have them again but their French fries and the Rusk sauce on point! Came for lunch can’t wait to come back. Bar tender very knowledgeable waiter very good and gave great service.

I got the chicken sandwich and loved it with tots. Also the lavender drink. They have fun silly beverages and the food was delicious. I look forward to trying more on the menu. Service was attentive and nice. The restaurant itself is nice with a cozy upstairs and a decently sized rooftop. I’ll be back and would recommend.

I’ve been to this restaurant three times now, and every single visit has been just as wonderful as the last. From the moment you walk in, you’re met with a warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The staff are consistently kind and attentive, and the food — always fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared — never disappoints. While waiting for my friend I had a bourbon at the bar. I was charged $45 for a drink I can get anywhere else for $12. At dinner, we ordered a bottle of wine. It was half price per bottle Wednesday special. When home, I realized we were charged full price. Coincidence? I don’t think so.

Really good food lots of different options for everyone. The prices are great and the food quality is always impressive. A nice atmosphere fun drink options definitely a nice night out or rooftop brunch. Only suggestion is with brunch we got mimosas but I would have enjoyed seeing by the bottle option however it worked out and we still were able to order a bottle it just wasn’t on the menu. Bottomless mimosas would be a fun addition for brunch. Definitely will be back.

On June 12, 2025 we hosted a rehearsal dinner (40 people) for our son and his fiancé. We began planning this event in early February 2025. We were given multiple venues to look at and had narrowed it down to three. Rusk was last on our list to view. After having lunch there and checking out the rooftop bar and patio area we were pretty much convinced this was the place for us. However, what put it over the top was the staff (Brian, Taylor, Morgan, there are a couple of others, but I can’t recall their names -SO SORRY) and the owner, Julie. From that day to even now after the fact, they have been responsive, attentive, accommodating, and most of all tons of fun to work with!!!!
We live in Nashville, TN., but plan to make Rusk a regular stop as often as we visit our son and his new wife!!!!
I’m not exaggerating, this venue and staff are AWESOME!!!!
