4th venue, and so far our favorite!
Rush Creek has a wonderful balance of class and accessibility. We’re usually pub grub folks, and feel very out of place at fancier places – not the case here!
Wonderful food, amazingly presented, delicious beyond belief (best pork chop I’ve ever had), a good price and we didn’t feel out of place.
This will be a wonderful date night venue for us sometime in the near future!
– Signature Burger – $16: Huge half pound char-grilled higher quality angus beef patty. I ordered it medium, but it came a bit closer to medium rare (which I like anyway). It was VERY juicy, but could have used a little more seasoning (mainly salt and pepper).
The applewood smoked bacon was good. The sharp cheddar is not my normal preference, but it worked here with the rest of the burger. The toppings were crisp and fresh. The house made bistro sauce sat in the background a bit more, but was good. The toasted artisan bakery bun went well with this burger and supported the flavors well.
– Fries – ($2 more with burger): Battered medium cut fries, though a tad thicker. They were wonderful, a tad salty, but well within normal limits. They were warm and there were plenty.
Was it worth $18 for the burger and fries? For as big as it was and good quality overall, I would definitely say it was. The atmosphere definitely made it worth it, too.
– Service: Kind, exact, always on top. Our waters were filled regularly.
– Atmosphere: Very upscale, clean, organized, and modern. The music was a little loud, but not obnoxious. They played classy, upbeat music and occasionally oldies.
They do have an event section, an outdoor pool, and golf course on the grounds. Everything about this place was upscale and nice.
– Conclusion: I’d recommend their burger and just about everything about them.
Visited on a Monday at 4pm.
I had a ribeye on the rock which is one of my favorite ways to eat a steak at a restaurant cuz every bite is hot
Our server Ephraim was very helpful and was very good. We really appreciated his service.
The parts I did really like: The ambience is great here for birthdays, date nights, etc and they can accommodate larger parties with no issues. We had great servers and we felt like we were taken care of well, even though we had a large crowd. I’m sure that everyone at our table may have a different opinion or experience with their food expectations, so I’m only speaking for myself with this review and it is based on what I actually ordered/tried/ate/drank.
I would probably give this place another shot but it’s just not on one of my “top places to eat at again” list.
