Runza Restaurants Serving real food requires a real commitment. It all begins bright and early each morning. Instead of serving breakfast, we’re making homemade bread dough from scratch. We’re hand-slicing onions. We’re shredding lettuce for our salads. We’re stirring up homemade chili and fresh ground beef filling for Runza® Sandwiches. It’s a labor-intensive process that doesn’t let up until long after closing time. We know there are easier ways to do all this, but our commitment to doing things the right way is as real as our food, and that’s not something we’re going to change.

The food is just ok. I do think this is a Nebraska thing. A Runza is basically a hot pocket filled with ground beef, onions and cabbage. The service is quick.

This was the best Runza I have had in a very long time. I’ve all but given up on eating Runza fries, maybe it’s just a Lincoln thing that they taste like extremely salty cardboard or extremely bland cardboard, but this Runza actually knows how to fry and salt their fries properly! I ate them all instead of throwing most of them away! The Runza sandwich was perfect too! It was hot, stuffed full and the bun was perfect! Lincoln could really learn a lot from this Runza. The service was also fast, polite, courteous and friendly.

Burger was not the usual large handmade patty. It was a skinny patty like you buy in bulk. Not good. Not sure I want to go back. It was edible, but not their usual standard.

The service was fast. The food was delivered hot. The taste was average. Nothing that stood out with the exception that they could have used less SALT!!!; in everything – fries, onion rings, burgers, Runza… everything was salty. The Runza was good but only because it was hot and it was my first time trying the sandwich. I would eat here again. Maybe once every three or four weeks.

A1 service with hot yummy comfort food. The Runza sandwich is a soft-baked single serve loaf of bread stuffed with cabbage, onions, beef, and whatever else you night like. There are burgers and salads too!

It took a very time to get my food, the employee seemed confused where my mobile order was, and then when I got it, the cabbage in the Runza was crunchy; not completely cooked.

The Runza Sanswhich hit the spot! I’m traveling and was in the mood for home-cooked food. Fast food doesn’t have that affect, but this sandwich does! It was hot, fresh, came out quickly and perfect on a cold, rainy day. However, I got a small drink and it was tiny! The smallest drink I’ve ever received anywhere. It was a child’s size. It wasn’t enough to go well with my sandwich. AND it was $2.09 (not including tax). RIP OFF! Do yourself a favor and go next door to the Split…convenience store and get a large fountain drink for $1.89 (it’s cheaper than that if you bring your own cup).
