Runza Restaurants Serving real food requires a real commitment. It all begins bright and early each morning. Instead of serving breakfast, we’re making homemade bread dough from scratch. We’re hand-slicing onions. We’re shredding lettuce for our salads. We’re stirring up homemade chili and fresh ground beef filling for Runza® Sandwiches. It’s a labor-intensive process that doesn’t let up until long after closing time. We know there are easier ways to do all this, but our commitment to doing things the right way is as real as our food, and that’s not something we’re going to change.

I just ordered online from this location tonight 2-21-26 7:17 pm and my pickup time was 7:30. So I get there and I have to wait until the car ahead of me leaves understandable, I get to the window finally and let the young lady know what I’m here for. So she mind you not once actually greeted me and never smiled at all, she brings my oder to me and assumed that was it. Well I had to get a little loud because she didn’t even read the ticket and I said that I need to get my drink too. Well I get home about a mile or less away from the store, and I realize now that they gave me old driy limp fries and everything that I ordered was already cold when I opened the bag!! I spent $32 for food that I had to come home and heat up!! Sad thing you people pay those crappy kids for nothing!! Unimpressed!! Also as I scroll through the other reviews, I just have to say to the owner who responds to us, why apologize for something that you are never going to get fixed?? You have a lot of bad reviews in the past 4-6 months and those same problems are still going on, so that really should tell us your customers that there really is no control or concerns for our complaints!! Also I had to throw away my fries even reheating as old as they were didn’t fix them, and that’s like why didn’t I just open the window and just throw the money out!

This was my first time eating at a Runza. I never heard of a Runza (as it’s a Nebraska chain). It was really delicious! A soft, doughy sub sandwich type roll filled with a meat/onion/spices mix. I look forward to the chance to eat here again.

Runza has the best cheeseburgers in town hands down. Everything always comes out fresh and tasty. When nightingale into a burger it’s like an explosion of flavor for every bite. The fries are very delicious as well. They’re cooked with perfection every time. I’ve yet to have a soggy fry from here. The best part is that they are not overly salted. The facility is very clean and clutter free. Tables are continuously wiped down and well maintained. The staff is super friendly and always staying busy. I’ve yet to run into an unhappy face here. Good Job Runza!

Being new to Omaha, I hadn’t heard of Runza until yesterday. Since my wife & I like to try new foods and new places to eat, we felt like we needed to visit what people were calling a Nebraska tradition.
I ordered the original Runza Combo and my wife had the Bacon Cheeseburger. We shared an order of Frings (part onion rings, part fries) and a Pear Lemonade. All of the food looked and tasted good.
The server was friendly and helpful in describing the various options on the menu. Our meal was prepared quickly and served with a smile. The restaurant was clean and bright.

Didn’t even offer to remake it just said we’ll get you some bacon…Worst Customer service!

We had not been to a Runza in several years and found that both the style of food and the price had changed considerably. What used to be a completely enclosed roll is now a mostly closed sandwich, and they were pretty expensive. That being said, the spicy jack sandwich was delicious and the spicy jalapeño really added to the taste. I would not pay this much on a regular basis, but it was a good experience as a special occasion.

My partner and I ordered delivery from this location. We ordered a bacon burger, fries, chili, and a 4 peice chicken strip. When the food arrived we realized we didn’t get our fries. The chicken strips were also quite small. My burger didn’t look cooked fully, had so much mustard on the side of it, and the bacon was quite hard to eat. Overall we weren’t to pleased and wish it was better.

We stopped to get a kids meal Thru drive thru. One of the children got McDonald’s the other runza. Our Runza chicken tenders were rock hard , she did eat the applesauce and apple juice but a wat about started.. Runza gives a coupon for ice cream while McDonald’s gives a toy. All of that matters to a 3 and 5 year old. Sad to say we had to stop and get another kids meal at a diff. Location…
