This is just a regular restaurant with simple food and a friendly atmosphere but such a great place!! As I write this I am sitting eating a second helping of chicken pot pie and half sweet ice tea and watching reruns on TV! It’s all great on this wet and chilly day! This place is a refuge!! The owner, Regina and helper Wendy are friendly and lovely and I’m happy I stumbled in here.

Ive never walked into a frame shoppe looking for a good chili dog but today Im sure glad I did. With In the heat of the night on the tv in the small dining area thats basically in the kitchen with the two wonder ladies cooking. I sat down to eat my 2 chili dogs and couldn’t help but think I was back at my grandmas kitchen table eating hot dogs in the summer time. The nostalgia sure helped but the chili dogs being so good was what made my visit so good. I’ll definitely be back when passing through

Wow, when someone talks about a “hole in the wall” place, this is exactly what is meant!
I mean, I had to find the place even after walking in
That’s not to be meant as a bad thing, either.
As you walk in, it is an old frame shop with stuff everywhere.
Just follow the smell of goodness, and you’ll end up in the very back of the building.
Seriously, I don’t know if that front part is open for business….. but it’s needs to go..
The food and service offered by the two ladies working was great!
I ordered two hotdogs from the menu. There are plenty of choices too!
I don’t recall the names but basically one was your typical Chilli, mustard, onion, and slaw dog.
The other had pimento cheese. I just had to try that one!
I enjoyed the meal and will definitely be back!
I think with some upgrades or a separate entrance, this place would be a very nice diner

Worth a visit! A local eatery with home made food, reasonable prices, along with a unique atmosphere! Upon entering head to the kitchen in the back to place your order. You will find a menu filled with a variety of items. I found the hotdog menu amusing with each kind of hotdog described with the name of a World War 2 Aircraft. I had the P38 Lightning with chili, cheese, and mustard with delicious slaw on the side! Things that could be improved on would be to expand the dining room area into the main part of the building with it’s variety of tables and chairs surrounded by the fascinating memorabilia. I will visit again!

One of the most interesting places I’ve ever stumbled upon, the hot dog shop is tucked in the back of a gift shop. Simple and family owned, the food is made with love and tastes fantastic! They also sell pickled things and jams, I’ll be coming back the next time I pass.

Great little roadside jewel! A walk through the frame shop with local art prints, and you find the café in the back. Famous chili that people drive for and delicious hot dogs are served up fresh all day. Had one the way I like it with mustard & onion and one of the others with more varied toppings. Friendly conversation with the workers and owner. Definitely stop in if you’re in the Aiken area!

We were driving home from a long weekend on the coast, and knew we’d be in Aiken right around lunchtime. Becky found this and Maps told us the way. It is right across from the Aiken Regional Airport and Verenes Industrial Park on Columbia Highway.

If it’s your first time visiting, when you enter the shop you’ll want to head to the far right corner; that’s where the counter is. They’ve got a host of ways to spruce up a hot dog. I had two and my wife had one of their “Heinkel” dogs, their dog with cole slaw. Really tasty.

A great hole in the wall, homespun, family owned place in the back of a gift/frame shop overlooking the airport. Tuna was fresh opened and made to order, homemade chili, thick fried bologna sandwich. Turkey, beef, and pork dogs. Homemade desserts. Just like how your mama would make you lunch.
