I’ve lived here in Washington for over a year now and it is the BEST food I’ve had since living here! I’m astonished with the perfection of flavor (soft building heat that enhances rather than takes away flavor), texture was perfect for the rice and navajo fry bread.
This was absolutely delicious and I’m obsessed now.
Everyone here is also so welcoming, the atmosphere is so cozy. I really loved my time here.

We finally made it for breakfast and enjoyed the meal, atmosphere, and service. It was a great spot to take our 2 year old with space for her to walk around. Limited menu and open times to pair with the culinary students schedule and learning. The ultimate part is you get to dine for a cause here!

The ambience is so nice, I got the Bengali (I hope I’m saying it right) chicken, the fried bread with honey butter — delish mind you, and the Masala fries. The fries were pretty standard, but omg the Rice with my chicken!? It was fragrant and the chicken was very tender. The moment you walk into the place you’re greeted by wonderful people, and the hostess Nikki was super awesome!

I had the Aasho Halal burger and masala fries. It was a delicious meal! The burger was made to order, smothered in grilled onions and melted cheese. The fries, while not fresh (frozen crinkle cuts), were super hot, crispy and farvorful. The water served was flavored lightly with lime. The server was gracious and knowledgeable of the menu offering and the dining room was clean. My friend had the amazing butter chicken with basmati rice and raita. She had the Malva pudding with cream: it had a crunchy caramel top and was a mixture of spices in the sponge cake. I definitely recommend dining here!

Runia’s Soul Cafe is not just an amazing place to grab a meal but an amazing place to support! They donate meals to those without, create support for the whole community, and serve up some amazing Malva pudding! Nikki my server was kind and attentive. I will be bringing back friends! The food at Rona soul Café is delicious and “to live for”.The atmosphere is beautifully decorated, very hospitable and clean. The Service is excellent and the people are friendly. The community center supports our community and others around us with wonderful programs and a bizarre.
