Poor attention to delivery order. Asked specifically no salad due to food aversion. Delivered with full salad so it was inedible. Even if the person wanted to eat it, the way they cut the pitta bread diagonally means you can’t actually get much filling in it. They just send everything for you to assemble. Makes no sense. Portion was very small too for £15.50
Also missed other items off my order entirely.
Wasted nearly £20 worth of my order.
Food that came was not exactly good.
Don’t recommend this place at all.

Really disappointed. We usually buy our Fish and Chips here but tonight we were quite disappointed in the offering. The prices are quite expensive, especially considering the portions are so meager. Not sure the last time I saw such a stingy portion of chips, which unfortunately were also very stale and hard. They were like eating cardboard. The fish was very rubbery. I actually didn’t finish my meal because I found it so hard to swallow. Lashings of salt and vinegar unfortunately couldn’t save it. The wait time was actually quite long so I expected it to have been cooked fresh to order but it evidently was not. Very unenjoyable.

Never have I regretted purchasing food from a venue as much as I do tonight, alarm bells should have rung when the shop front is full of stock and not well presented. Go to any Rumbles in the area and you will see the difference.
Massive language barrier when ordering so not surprised when the food was ready and I asked them to check , bits were missing
Good 20 minutes wait for two kebabs and chips, not exactly a la carte stuff we are talking about
My doner kebab, large, was some uncooked, cold stuff in a box with some white splodge on top, no pitta or need I say love went into that, my partners salad kebab ( don’t ask ) Iv picked more salad out of my belly button after a meal than she got, although she did get a pitta.
Limp, old looking salad, covered in a bit of paper in the chiller cabinet, not to keep the flys away, to stop us seeing what they are serving . The chips,, If you have ever owned a deep fat fryer you will know this, fryer has been in the garage for a few weeks and you get it out to do some chips but there are a couple left below the basket that you dropped last month, sod it, heat the oil, fish them out and serve, that’s how bad they were
I’m not a drama queen but on this occasion I have put what I haven’t eaten in the fridge so if I don’t wake up tomorrow my partner has the evidence.
To summarise, I regret giving Ely Rumbles my money for something I wouldn’t feed to my dog

I ordered a large fish and chips, 3 pieces of chicken, cheese chips, and curry sauce — and everything was absolutely delicious! The fish was crispy and fresh, the chicken was cooked perfectly, and the cheesy chips with curry sauce were full of flavor. I usually order from other restaurants, but this time I tried here, and I’m so glad I did.
Not only was the food great, but the people behind the kitchen were really kind and genuine — good staff who clearly care about what they serve. I’ll definitely be ordering again!

This was THE WORST fish and chips I’ve ever had. Typical of people coming to England thinking they can sell us our national dish and Very badly indeed. I will never order from this takeaway Ever again, the fish was soggy and flavourless. The batter was soggy and the chips were a horrible, dark grey colour. Vile. Never again.

Thank God Ely is blessed with some wonderful Fish and chip shops. Market square and Alan’s are the best in my opinion.

Crispy batter, fluffy chips, and fresh fish that flakes perfectly—absolutely delicious! Portion sizes were generous and everything tasted freshly made. The new management and staff were so friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Definitely one of the best fish and chips I’ve had in a while.

Chips were so dry and shrivelled they looked like they’d been sitting there for days. Could barely taste any potato as so shrivelled. Place smelt burnt inside and didn’t look clean which should have been our sign to leave and not order. Not sure what’s happened as was always fine.

Just popped in to what usually is an upbeat place with friendly faces, this time it was all different. The portion sizes are pathetic, I ordered a large cod and chips and the chips barely covered the bottom of the box with a carrot sized piece of fish! I had to add another large chips to the order. Will not be going back!

Very bad here. Ordered online and was waiting for it to be delivered then when the food was due, it said that it cancelled our order but didn’t say why. Won’t be trying here again. This was our first time ordering from here. Rumbles did call me later on and left a voicemail stating that I ordered an hour early! But is it my fault that your website lets me order early?!?!
