GO TO MOBETTAHS. I came because I had a coupon…pretty disappointed. Worst hawaiian food I’ve tasted in utah, hungry Hawaiian, sweets, are more authentic. No flavor on the Mac salad. Teriyaki sauce is literally store bought, like I can make this at home for a fraction of the price. Prices are too high for the portion size. Chicken was a touch over cooked. Service was fast and atmosphere was clean and had a nice island feel but the food very white washed and bland.

Rumbi is always so fresh and fast. We love coming here for a date night. The staff is so kind and we would fully recommend. FYI: the sweet potato fries are a must!

This food was so fresh and yummy. I got the Hawaiian Bowl (bottom) with steamed veggies instead of mac salad, and my husband got the same thing but with grilled chicken and peanut sauce instead (top). The vegetables were cooked well and the chicken had a great flavor. All around, we were very happy that we came here for lunch

The service was good and so was the salad, but the rest of the food was honestly pretty unappetizing. The sweet pork was really disappointing, tasting exactly the same as Cafe Rio sweet pork. The coconut rice was weird (maybe just personal preference, sorry), and the chicken & shrimp wasn’t bad, just mediocre (felt like it was a waste of good shrimp that had so much potential). Would not go back or recommend.

Went to Rumbi for lunch and ordered the Caribbean Chicken and Shrimp, as in times past, as well as a kids meal. The CC&S was $17. I’ve shied away from it due to price but thought I’d try it again. Got the meal and it was tiny!! The same size as the kids meal. How much more does it cost them for more rice? Literally barely any. Good amount of chicken and shrimp but wow the presentation in the kid size bowl was disappointing! And the meal was meh. They need to add some veggies and put it in an appropriate bowl. Plus the place was empty during lunch. Get a clue Rumbi. Won’t be going back any time soon, if ever!

I used to love eating here when I was younger. When I went here yesterday there was only two groups here, that should’ve been my first sign to leave.
I walked directly up to order with zero wait and ordered a fire grilled steak rice bowl with grilled veggies and teriyaki sauce. The steak was not good (incredibly chewy) and the veggies tasted like they came from the frozen foods section at the grocery store. I also ordered brown rice but they gave me white rice (I would’ve asked for brown but I got the food to go so I didn’t know until I got to where I was going). I waited for 20 minutes for my food, and unless the food truly is cooked fresh (which would surprise me) that is way too long. For a $15 meal this experience was definitely not good enough.
The staff were nice enough and the restaurant was clean, but everything else made this a 1-star review.

Our family loves coming here! The food is so fun and flavorful, I always have a hard time choosing what to get. But everything is good! I love having a healthy local option that my entire family loves.
