I went to Rumba Cubana in Rochelle Park and cant say enough good things about this location. Out of all the different Rumba Cubanas I been too this location tops them all, from the friendly valet service, to friendly host and great waiters to the delicious food and reasonable prices. Started off by ordering a coconut mojito which was on point and made perfect followed by appetizer of tostones with churrasco which was delicious, steak was tender and we all enjoyed. I had the lechon asado with moro rice and sweet plantains was very good and one of best I ever had, my wife had shrimp in garlic sauce which she loved the large shrimps and taste, my daughter had palomilla chicken which she enjoyed followed by two flans one eith coco and one without and churros, very good. There was nothing negative about this place it is managed very good and chefs were on point. Couldn’t believe price all this for $127. Highly recommend this Rumba Cubana.

This is honestly one of the most standout restaurants in Bergen County in terms of value, flavor, service, and ambiance. Was honestly not expecting too much considering that this is a chain but was pleasantly surprised by the friendly and responsive waitstaff, and the amazing lunch specials. We had ceviche, which was very fresh and tried 2 items from the lunch menu – the bill was less than $50 including a drink. That’s pretty wild in this day and age. The ambiance of the restaurant is also welcoming, warm and very clean. Kudos to Rumba Cubana for being able to offer such a wonderful experience without jacking up their prices.

We decided to try Rumba Cubana in Rochelle Park. We called ahead to make a reservation, but they told us it was first come, first serve. Luckily, we only waited about five minutes to be seated. The place is very cozy, beautifully decorated, and has a great ambiance.
For appetizers, we had the “Rumberito,” which is a nice sampler of different appetizers, and the bacon-wrapped yuca, which was delicious.
For the main course, we tried the “Churrasco Rumbero” and a dish called “Poquito de Todo,” which included lechón, arroz moro, ropa vieja, and other tasty sides. Everything was very flavorful and reasonably priced.
We had a child with us who ordered the “gallinita ciega,” which is basically chicken with rice and beans, and he loved it.
For dessert, the tres leches and coconut flan were spectacular. The only downside was the chocolate lava cake, which wasn’t warm enough and didn’t have the molten center you’d expect.
One small drawback is that parking can be tricky. You either have to use the valet parking or find street parking nearby, which can be a bit of a challenge.
Overall, it was a very positive experience, and we’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommended! Thanks

While I have eaten at Rumba Cuban in their Clifton location and loved it every time, today I had decided to order in through Uber Eats and this location was the closest. I was fully enjoying their meal as usual (Filete de Pescado A La Plancha) , when I noticed a very long white thing imbedded into my fish. I pulled it out to figure out what the heck it could’ve been. Lo and behold, it was a long parasitic worm! Not only am I grossed out, but am questioning their quality of food. Honestly, It makes me not want to order another meal from them again and wouldn’t recommend to any other as they might experience the same issue and can have an allergic reaction towards something like this.

Visited 1/2/2026. The prices here are unbelievably low for really good quality food and table service. We started with a ceviche for the table and I had the Cuban-style roasted pollo asado with tostones off the Friday specials menu, then capped everything off with a cafe con leche.
