First time ordering since I was super young. The portions are huge & you can easily feed a family of 4 getting a large of anything. Small will feed 2. We got baked mostaccioli, prosperity(sauce on the side), Bosco sticks, and Rumas super sandwich. The pasta was definitely kid approved. Prosperity was perfect and I absolutely loved the gravy, Bosco sticks tasted slightly freezer burnt but it was still nostalgic. Will be back

Why not provide the customer a box? Dont give customers a paper bag for a pizza.
Open face sandwich is just left in a brown paper bag with no aluminum foil to keep it covered so all the stuff is in the bottom of the bag and soaked through by the time im home and no I can’t eat the sandwich because its on my floorboard. I want a refund.

Unfortunately, every single time we order from here they forget something in our order. Its super annoying to drive home and then have to get back out to go pick up the rest of your order. Get your act together Rumas. I used to love this place, however, I believe new owners took over within the last few years. I do understand you have a hiccup every once in awhile but every time is getting to be ridiculous. Also, when something like this happens it would be awesome if the crew was courteous since they are the ones who forgot to pack some of our food in the bag. It’s not our fault you didnt do your job correctly. How about not be rude to the person whose order you screwed up and made them make 2 trips to your store. A little niceness goes a long way! Customer Service nowadays seems to be a lost art apparently! Definitely didn’t get a sorry we messed up your order, they should have at least said something nice, didn’t get anything but attitude.

Ordered deluxe salad. Received a small box looked good when I oped it, but when I put in a larger bowl to mix.
All the lettuce was wilted and brown.
Very dissatisfied. I also ordered Bosco sticks they was just ok. What a waste of 15.00 I will NOT be going back.
Also the employees was in pj’s and not friendly at all.

I feel like a connoisseur of the Ruma’s restaurants. I grew up going to the one in the South County mall and it was a childhood favorite.
That one is long gone, but the Lemay Ferry one is my go to. I finally got to go to this one, in Imperial and was thrilled to have this Italian food close to where I live now! The service was very courteous and nice. And the price to eat on so much food is great. I will be back for more

Ordered a carryout prosperity. They gave it to me in a brown bag. Figured it was in styrofoam. Nope just on foil open faced so when I set it in my new car juice leaked through. I dont know if this is normal but it shouldn’t be.

I have always loved Ruma’s Deli! Ordered the prosperity (not cooked, carryout to cook at home) and a fantastic house salad with buttermilk ranch dressing. The prosperity and gravy were delicious as I remembered from years ago. The gravy was very tasty and full of flavor. They gave us 3 complimentary chocolate chip cookies that were large and yummy! I will definitely be back!

Went in on Friday evening to order a super sub sandwich to have for a hike the next day – wait was VERY long but given it was Friday evening – I get it. The sandwich was excellent and held up well overnight and through our hike. We went back on Sunday and ordered a deluxe pizza (a customer from Friday evening was telling us it’s so good and loaded with toppings) and super salad – Salad was great, pizza not so much – hardly any toppings, cold and it wasn’t cooked all the way (could still see the shredded cheese on the sauce and crust on bottom was doughy/chewy – we had to put it in the oven to bake it more (425 for 15 min) then it was cooked. So my review is from two different orders at two different times: It’s Hit or Miss here.

I have two issues and wasn’t going to even write a review, but this evenings meal was the straw that broke the camels back. I believe I. Second chances So, I ordered a large ravioli , garlic cheese bread and a 32oz mt dew. Almost $20 and this is what I got. The first picture is what I opened the lid to. It was a watery based ravioli soup I thought. I couldn’t tell if it was four or five ravioli. After I removed all the water, it was four in a half ravioli. It was awful. Now I ordered this online at 8pm for a an 8:50pm pick up, but really there is no excuse for this.
Last week I ordered a Chicago sandwich and it was cold, a dash of gravy and big chunks of jalapeños, nothing like I had before. This is normally a sandwich I love and didn’t even finish it. I don’t know what the deal is, but it apparently needs to be addressed.
