Tables were sticky upon arrival even though they had just cleaned the table so we could sit there. Waited 10 minutes just for waters and our server to greet us. Then saw a table who had been seated after we even ordered get their entrees before us. We also did not receive the complimentary bread until halfway through our salad. Soggy croutons. Paid $20 for a plate of pasta drenched in oil. Service is horrible and food is the same.

-My first 5/5-

This is hands down the best Italian place I’ve ever been to. Enough said. The vibe was on-point, and the environment within the restaurant felt exactly as I’d imagine they hoped it to.

The food was delicious, perfect temperature, perfectly well cooked, and extremely fresh. The first thing I noticed was how bright red the sauce was, as if they had made a new batch for my dish alone. The person I was dining with also ordered some wine, and she said it was delicious (as well as her food too). Our appetizer was equally delicious, and the bread they served with the meal was great.

The person I went with is also a wheelchair user, and the restaurant is extremely well laid out and accessible. They had no problem making an accomidation for her easier access to the table. When they removed the chair where she sat, they also completely took it away instead of placing it directly behind her and limiting movement as some places had done.

I’ve been to many Italian places, and this was easily my favorite. I left having genuinely had a great meal that improved my mood, like all great meals should.

I went earlier today to get a pizza which by the way it was the best pizza I ever tasted and it was super delicious. Although this for me was not a good experience because as a server im very concerned because im pretty sure i saw the manager putting the tip in his pocket. Ive seen him many times before his hair looks like is thinning and he had a button up shirt and ive seen him before because he’s mostly on take out and i believe that is the manager!! I did not like that at all!!

I haven’t eaten here in years but sadly I think the food has gone downhill. Most of the food is edible. The spaghetti and meatballs is actually pretty good and the safest thing on the menu besides the French fries which were great!! The lasagna is ok, the eggplant parm is decent. But DO NOT get the salmon! I repeat DO NOT get the SALMON!! it is seriously the most disgusting salmon I’ve ever had in my life and the smallest filet of salmon I’ve seen for $23! It was hard, tasteless, and cooked wrong. I could have cooked a frozen piece of salmon from the grocery store myself and it would have been better and cheaper. And the side that it comes with, the beans just taste like saltwater.

I’m always hesitant to post negative reviews (especially having been in the service industry for over six years) but I think it’s important to provide valuable feedback so hopefully businesses can improve in the future. The architecture and design is beautiful, like you’re stepping into a little Italian bistro. To set the scene, it was a very slow evening, we walked in and there was no hostess, multiple staff members casually walked passed (except one woman from
the kitchen who tried to get us assistance) and we waited for five plus minutes to be seated. Our waiter didn’t so much as say hello, introduce himself, or ask how we were, and never so much as smiled and it felt like we were inconveniencing him by being present. The food was either over cooked or reheated in a microwave numerous times. We sent it back and they had a fresh meal prepared which was no better. We asked a different waitress for help who was much more personable and kind thankfully. Finally on the way out, there were two employees standing near the entry (one was supposed to be our waiter) and not a single “have a great evening”, etc was said. The hospitality was almost non existent if not for the sweet woman who helped us and we could barely eat our meals. I’m really bummed since it looks so beautiful inside and it seems like a really missed opportunity for a more immersive dining experience.

Had dinner there tonight with my elderly mother and wife. I agree with others reviewer’s the place is worn down and in desperate need of improvements. We were first seated in a booth, and when I sat down, all I could feel was springs and an antiquated seat cushions, which were frankly some of the worst I’ve sat in in a long time. We moved to another seat with actual chairs and that was much better, but the tables are pretty worn too. Then we ordered our meals two orders, lasagna, and one with chicken and penne shells in a white sauce, which was OK. However, both plates of lasagna were actually just lukewarm. The lasagna was good, but the fact that it came out both plates, not warm was terribly disappointing. Sadly, I don’t think I’ll return. I was hoping to find a nice restaurant for my mother as she enjoys Italian and is living nearby and one of the retirement homes, but that will not be. I will say that management comped one meal when we told him the lasagna was cold, which is OK but I feel it was inadequate.

This is by far my favorite place to go and return to. Brett Hood is the reason. I am a picky eater and I’ll admit I can be a pain at times. He was so amazingly helpful, and made a couple jokes to ease my embarrassment. I have gone there since, and every time I go, I’ll be sure to ask for him. Additionally, he is an AMAZING drink maker. You can tell him just a couple things you like, and he will make something delicious. I always look forward to going here. It’s definitely my ”go-to” lunch spot. I can’t rave about it enough. Also, super clean bathrooms.

Bocci is a tired old restaurant that lacks warmth, needs to be thoroughly cleaned as our wood table was sticky, , and provides very mediocre food. We sent our first order of meatballs back ad they were served marginally room temp. Second order came out of the kitchen again… room temp. Personally I prefer my hot dishes hot. Waiter was unfazed by our first request. Second order, well we just threw up our hands.

I had a gluten free pizza with chicken, tomato and goat cheese. All I saw was chicken and it too came …. room temp. Was this a waiter problem or a kitchen problem? Lets say it continues to be a management problem. Its near our home and is quite convenient, but neadless to say we won’t be back.

What a delightful and delicious Sunday lunch. Lauren and Anna served us Nonna’s bolognese, fresh crusty bread, a glass of toscana’s torrebruna sangiovese…finishing with cannoli.
Perfection!

Tried this place sitting at the bar for lunch. My husband had the meatball ciabatta and he really liked it, but the ceasar side salad was served on the same plate and was wilted. After pointing this out a new plate of salad was quickly brought out and it was great. I tried the linguine dish Monte Mare and liked it a lot. The pasta was al dente with just the right amount of yummy sausage, shrimp and sauce.
The ambiance was nice and it only came to $ 37 plus tip. This included a craft beer and a sparkling San Pellegrino.
