If you’re looking for authentic Ethiopian cuisine this is your spot!! So glad Chef Ali just opened his resturant in the south terminal food hall located right in downtown ATL. Ruki’s Kitchen is delicious omg I already can’t wait to go back. Steak tebs w/cabbage & chicken tebs w/lentils, both 10/10. Everything seasoned to perfection you can tell these use fresh ingredients. The lentils were so good and I usually don’t prefer them. The sautéed onions and peppers are my favorite part they go so good with the meat. So flavorful
Lastly those wings are to die for!! I promise you will not be dissapointed if you check this spot out. Thank me later

First time at Ruki’s Kitchen but definitely won’t be my last! Wow! I got the salmon tibs – the food was so flavorful and fresh. Amazing customer service, shout out to Paradise. She was so sweet and checked in to see if I enjoyed my meal. I hope this business continues to flourish!

Loved my experience at Ruki’s Kitchen. I had the Steak Tibs with rice, Gomen( Ethiopian spice collards) and Injera on this occasion and it taste just as good as the last time I had it, you can tell in the taste that this food is not only made with love but good quality ingredients too. Ruki’s Kitchen will always have a customer in me. If you’ve never tried it take chance try something knew you won’t regret it!

The chicken tibs were so good. Super flavorful, tender, and not dry at all. You can tell everything was cooked fresh. If you like tibs, you have to try these.

We got pretty much everything! The service is amazing. The food was a bit over seasoned for my taste but I see why people love it. The tibs were tender and FRESH. The wings were flavorful and the injera was soft and fresh.

I visited this restaurant due to it being recommended by ladies at another business in the same location (BSB). I ordered the chicken plate w/turmeric rice, steak w/cabbage and a veggie plate. First the smell was amazing. So while I’m not adventurous eater, I was intrigued! The service was excellent and the food!!! OMG SOOOO GOOD. My 13 yo son is a foodie and could not stop talking about the seasoning and how delicious it was. He’s asked to get more every day since Friday 1/30 and it’s 2/1. Unfortunately they are closed today but we will be stopping by (all the way from north Gwinnett) on Wednesday because it’s that good. Let me add we had a little left over that my son ate today and when I say the seasoning and food are even better. This is now our favorite restaurant! Congrats to the owner and employees. The food and service are exceptional!!!!

Quite literally amazing food… from the beef tibs to the salmon bites, to the wings… the greens, cabbage, and rice are amazing. Tasting the evolution of Ali’s cuisine is amazing. So flavorful, so intentional. The wings and that sauce omg . He should start selling it. But Ruki’s Kitchen is beautifully put together. The food is fresh, service is great. Please do yourself a favor & try some Ethiopian food!!

I was in Atlanta on business recently. Anytime I visit I always find a different Ethiopian restaurant to try. Ruki’s Kitchen was the closest, so I headed over, and I’m so glad I did! It’s just a little unassuming spot nestled in Terminal South, but the vibe and the food were amazing and unlike any Ethiopian restaurant I’ve tried. And I’ve had Ethiopian all over the country! There were 2 young guys working. The one who served me (I didn’t get his name) was an absolute delight! I ordered the Veggie Platter and it didn’t disappoint. The servings were generous and everything was fresh and well seasoned. I will definitely go again the next time I’m in town.

I placed an order for pickup. The online ordering is easy to navigate and provides an estimated time your order will be ready. You’ll also receive a text when the order is ready.
Ruki’s is located inside of Terminal South. When I went on a late Thursday afternoon it wasn’t busy. There is free parking. Enter the door in the left and walk directly to the back and you’ll find Ruki’s. You have access to plenty of tables and chairs if you want to enjoy your meal there.
The Asa Tibs (salmon) come with one side and injera or rice for $22. I had injera and cabbage. The meal was solid! Packed full of spices, well seasoned, and a very large portion. It was enough for two days of food so no complaint with the price.
My food was ready when I arrived and handed to me by an employee who was very pleasant and welcoming.
Spread the word and support this small business serving of Ethiopian food in Terminal South. I’m looking forward to trying more of their sides.
