My brother and I visited on Sunday July 6, 2025 as he had visited prior and loved it! The location is ideal after a day of shopping, the space itself is so nice and spacious and the restroom was clean and also very nice!
Our waitress was very attentive and quick, we got bread to enjoy and we shared mussels in white sauce to begin. My brother got a huge meatball pasta dish and I enjoyed shrimp with pasta. For dessert we shared tiramisu and it was delicious!
Overall we had a great time in a nice atmosphere, since we dined on a Sunday afternoon it was quiet and I would recommend and go again! The dishes are huge so maybe sharing is a better option or the option of taking some yummy food home .

A friend recommended Ruggero’s for dinner and we were so pleased that we tried it. The restaurant is located in the Shoppes at East Wind. It has a relaxing atmosphere, like being on vacation. The Caesar Salad for two was tasty and the baked cheese was a nice addition. I really enjoyed the Short Rib Ragu. It had so much flavor, with a generous portion of rib meat. The Ossobuco was amazing. The pork was tender and the risotto was perfect.

My family and I had lunch here today and can’t say enough good things about it. The food is delicious, the drinks as well but the standout was truly the service. Tracy was our server and she went ABOVE and BEYOND to take care of a table with twin toddlers. She also took such great care of my mom who was just returned home from a long stay in rehab. She beautifully wrapped up leftovers, managed all of our allergies and was pleasant and professional. The hostess was lovely and helpful as well. This will definitely be our go to restaurant when visiting our mother!

First off, we made a reservation less than 24 hours ago knowing it was last minute and for Valentine’s Day.
Long story short, they were short staffed but not a shocker for the industry or holiday.
That being said, the staff was absolutely amazing. Everyone’s working in overdrive and you can’t ask for more.
Our waitress Melissa was absolutely awesome despite having a bunch of tables on a crazy night. She was super sweet and helped us navigate a very inviting menu with so many tempting options.
Appetizers, we did the burrata and the Cupid salad off the special menu. Both were delicious and plenty of food for first plates.
Dinner, Pork Ossobucco was unreal. I definitely need a nap after eating that monster. My wife got the pork cappraciossa and it was also delicious.
The tartufo dessert was also a very nice way to wrap up a great meal.
Were wait times a little extended tonight? Absolutely.
Was that at any fault of the staff? No chance.
We are super appreciative to have such friendly and hard working people working a “holiday” and Friday night while juggling such a rush of people.
10/10 on the food.

We celebrated my husband’s 40th surprise birthday at Ruggero’s and what a delightful experience everyone had from start to finish. We were set up in their back private room which was very spacious for everyone to sit, move,and dance comfortably without being on top of one another. The food was exceptional with a great variety of menu options and the atmosphere/ambiance was warm and lively. The whole entire team was truly exceptional and very attentive to all our needs. Family and friends all felt comfortable and welcomed. John the manager was extremely helpful and made the booking process easy and enjoyable. He was very knowledgeable, always around to answer any questions,and made sure everything at the venue ran smoothly. My husband and I want to give some shout outs to Tracy and Cain who did an incredible job serving. Both always had a smile on their face and you can tell they enjoy what they do to help guests feel comfortable. Brandy, Josselin, Justin,and Johnathan were also working that evening. Thank you all for making our occasion magical and a night we will remember forever!!! We look forward to visiting and dining with you soon!

We stopped by Ruggero’s Family Style Restaurant for lunch and were pleasantly surprised. While the prices were a bit higher than other Italian places we’ve been to, we didn’t mind once we saw the huge portion sizes! The fried calamari was perfectly cooked—soft and delicious. Overall, a great experience, and we’ll definitely be coming back!

Had a wonderful birthday dinner last night! I love the booth seating. It feels so private! I can’t say enough about how great everything was. I ordered a vodka collins, my once a year treat and I was surprised that it was made perfectly. No one seems to make it right! Delish! Our server, I think her name was Angelica, actually was angelic! She was so sweet and attentive but not overbearing. I ordered the cheese ravioli and it was just the right amount and scrumptious. Tiramisu was for desert and OMG it was heavenly! I had the best company for dinner that anyone could hope for and we stayed for 3 hours! We were never rushed at all. Ruggero’s is a hidden gem in the Wading River community. Highly recommend! (Can’t answer what was spent per person because this was a birthday treat and I didn’t pay)

Went on a Monday had the dinner special which is a fantastic 3 course meal with drink included. They skimp neither on quality or quantity – you will have leftovers most likely and ample time to shoot the breeze with their friendly staff.
