Service and Food others should learn from.
The attention to detail, the quality of ingredients, and excellent flavors of all of their food is what makes this Colleyville gem a true Italian experience.
The wait staff is kind, knowledgeable and has decades of experience that is missing from most restaurants.
Definitely get the iconic Souffle…chocolate was our favorite.
Hot, soft and every bite made you wishing you got one for yourself and not share.
5 stars all day for this place!
You will want to come back over and over again.
I say all of this with the caveat that, I do not care for Italian food. This place has changed my mind.

All I can say is wow about this place. This might honestly be one of the best kept secrets in the North Richland Hills area. The moment we walked in the door the whole vibe felt like classic comfortable Italian. Warm lighting, quiet conversations, the kind of spot where you feel like you discovered something special. There was live piano music playing which added a lot to the atmosphere without being too loud. The owner greeted us himself and he was one of the sweetest older gentlemen you will meet. You could tell right away how much pride he has in the restaurant and in the people who work there. That kind of energy sets the tone for the whole night.
Our friends who are regulars here took us and told us we had to ask for George. They said he is their guy every time they come and now I understand why. George is amazing. Entertaining, friendly, and just one of those good guys who clearly cares about the food and the experience. He knew every dish like the back of his hand and talked through the menu with real passion. Prices were super reasonable which surprised me because the quality felt much higher than what you usually find around here.
I ordered the carbonara and it was honestly the best I have had in Texas. Rich, creamy, and seasoned just right. My wife ordered the lobster bisque and she absolutely loved it. Our friends had the steak and the lobster turbinado and said it was perfect. Everything that came out looked and tasted spot on. There was not a single disappointment at the table. If I could give this place six stars I absolutely would. This is the kind of spot you want to come back to again and again.

Long-established, local favorite. Classic Italian with live piano music. Excellent, and plentiful seafood on the main menu as well as multiple specials each night. Jani always provide impeccable service. You will definitely need reservations during the weekend evenings.

What an amazing experience here this evening! A Saturday night dinner was elevated to date status – live music, good food and excellent customer service. The owner Morris is such a sweet man. He is always so hospitable. Been visiting them since their previous location burned down. We really enjoyed their chicken parmesan and Fettuccine Alfredo pasta. And to top it off – the soft cake was a delight! We would recommend this place always! Cant wait to be back soon! ♥️

Absolutely wonderful experience! From appetizer to dessert, everything was delicious. I had the sea bass, which was perfectly cooked—light, flavorful, and fresh. For dessert, both the crème brûlée and tiramisu were incredible—rich, authentic, and beautifully presented. The live piano music added a lovely touch to the atmosphere. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a special night out with amazing Italian food and ambiance.

We recently moved to Colleyville and this was the first time we have been able to get out for a nice date night. We really wanted to eat local and see what the Colleyville food scene was about. Upon arrival, we barely got in the door when an older gentlemen told us they were fully booked for the evening as he rushed us back out the door….despite only 3 tables being occupied. So we left disappointed. We called back after we had dinner at Loveria, which was amazing btw, to ask if they required reservations to which they replied no, but we have availability this evening if you want to come in. Are you serious?!?! Won’t be back.

I am embarrassed to say how long it had been since we visited Ruggeri’s. What a mistake on our part!!! Julie is just as beautiful, professional, and attentive as she has always been. The sea bass was just as I remembered….phenomenal!! The restaurant was decorated beautifully. Can not wait to return.

Small Restaurant with exceptional service and food. Live music on piano and they take requests. Higher end on prices and well worth it. Very personal with the owner always visiting with guests. Very classy. Parking can be found down the street – always seem to get the last open parking spot.
After eating here many times, I can reassure you this is a top notch place.
Everything this great.
Attentive wait staff. Exceptional service.

Ruggieri’s in Colleyville is not just a restaurant, it’s an authentic Italian Family experience. As a Texas transplant in the late 80’s from m the Northeast (Stratford, CT) its a challenge finding REAL Italian food. They make FOOD an art in terms of quality and service. The menu and selections are always varied and the staff and owners are sooooo hospitable offering suggestions for appetizers + wine pairing. SPECTACULAR = (from a devout foodie).
