I’m not even trying to hate on Rudy’s seriously I love the hostess Kay and all my friends have worked and ate/drank at Rudy’s over the years. Rooftop patio all year. It was a blast, but seriously you guys what’s going in the kitchen. Last 3 times in a row our foods been so bad it’s been not worth returning. Since I grew up in white bear I know you guys are better than that so I came back on my mom’s birthday. Seafood came back undercooked and my wife was pregnant at the time so we said to make sure that it was cooked through for the 2x while I was in the bathroom, the older waitress came back with the food and said is this OK with the boss in a snotty remark to my entire family and wife who needed the food cooked through felt embarrassed. This was the last and final time I will be coming in there. I ordered food from you guys last night on our way back through white bear. Shortly after my wife ate the food she was immediately sick. I couldn’t believe how much grease was in this dish as an Italian inspired dish my grandparents would roll over in their grave if this is what people think pasta is supposed to be. It’s really sad. I’m trying to be as sincere as I can to you guys so you guys can make some sort of change because the talk around town is the same thing. Rudy is going downhill and maybe you guys know that too. I’d rather go to Jimmys and pay half the price for better food these days. 70 dollars wings, pasta and a burger. I paid it all day if the food was worth it. Here’s a pic I put it in a pan so you can see how much grease is in here.

Great service and atmosphere. Drinks were yummy. I ordered steak but sent it back as it was overdone and chewy. Second time it was good but kind of lost my appetite. The baked potato was dry and tasted like it was heated up in a microwave. Overpriced. I don’t think we’ll be back.

Rudy’s never disappoints. The food is consistently good, the drinks are always on point—but the real reason this place stands out isn’t on the menu. It’s M.K. After 2 mildly warm baked potatoes sent back my mom decided to get the sweet potato hash browns and unfortunately those were burnt as you can see in the picture from the black charred sweet potato. I was never given a refill and I was never offered a refill either. There was three of us at the table with a child and we were only given two waters instead of three because my kid obviously had his own water bottle so he didn’t need one. I came here with my wife and my kid to celebrate my mom’s birthday.

Excellent food and excellent service! One could easily spend quite a bit of money here, but I opted for the $17 burger, which offered both a generous quantity of food as well as superb quality. The $9 macaroni and cheese kid’s meal was also huge and had to be brought home. Family I was with had the pricier items such as the steak, and they enjoyed their meals as well.

Not only is the dining room beautiful but this restaurant is very well-staffed! We were helped immediately and the food took an appropriate amount of time to come out. We both got some form of steak and the seasoning and temps on both were perfect! The prices are extremely fair! Highly recommend if you’re in the area! Can’t wait to check out the rooftop when the weather is nicer!

Our first time! Great dining experience – the atmosphere is fun and staff, customers give it a good vibe. The food was amazing! We ordered the spinach artichoke dip, definitely recommend. Our group ordered the following entrees: penne pasta w/bacon, broasted chicken, pork chop and walleye. Every bite from beginning to end was great! We definitely will return. Thanks for making our experience AWESOME!

The dining room has an awesome esthetic, and while our server was a bit slow (she seemingly had too many tables that night), she was very friendly and over the top helpful with menu items.
Unfortunately, the food was lacking. We ordered the seafood platter: the oysters were warm, the breading on the fish was saggy and unappealing, and the amount of food for the price point had me doing a double take.

Solid restaurant connected to the hotel.
It’s hard to beat the convenience of having a restaurant and bar like this that’s attached to the hotel. The kitchen and bar are both open late so you can go there for a late bite if need be.
We got some apps and some of there signature martinis and we had a great time. The portions on both the food and drinks were very generous and the chicken wings were great!
We also enjoyed the connecting hotel so when we stay in White Bear Lake again we’ll be sure to stop in to Rudy’s.
