We came to Rudy’s for the first time, as I’d received a free pizza flyer through the letterbox, and I would never turn down free pizza! The refit looks lovely (it was a restaurant called the Chili Pickle before) and they’ve done a lovely job refitting it for Rudy’s. We were greeted by a very nice person, and our order was taken by another lovely server. The pizza arrived extremely fast (yay) and was very tasty, I think it’s possibly the nicest garlic bread I’ve ever had, very yummy. (And was basically another pizza, it was HUGE!)
I would say from that point on, service unfortunately became a real letdown. No one checked back to see if our food was okay, our plates were cleared but we weren’t asked if we would like any dessert, or coffee, afterwards. We sat there for quite a long time, and ended up putting our coats on, to get ready to leave. They then came to clear the table, saying thank you so much etc, have a lovely rest of your day- there clearly hadn’t been any handover as they had no clue we hadn’t settled the bill! I did say, “I need to pay the bill, please,” and they did seem surprised lol but managed to get all settled up.
I would return as the pizza was very delicious, but definitely improvements on service needed. It wasn’t as if it was particularly busy at the time of our visit, we were there at 3.30pm in the week.

Had an amazing dinner at Rudy’s, every time I’ve been the service has always been so welcoming and friendly, especially Enrique yesterday! Would highly recommend and I would probably say it’s one of the best pizza places in Brighton!

I had a special pizza the triple Funghi. It’s very large and well made with fresh ingredients. I’m not a regular pizza eater but this was a lot better than one from the better known chain around the corner. Service was delightful and it has nice decor. Lovely house cherry soft drink too.

This is a great location next to the library on the old Chili Pickle site. Lots of pizza and drink options to suit a wide range of tastes. Especially good if you enjoy Neapolitan style pizza. Staff were welcoming and attentive and service is speedy.

First time eating at Rudys, if I could rate more than 5 I would. Firstly, greated with a welcoming smile and hello upon arrival. Service is swift, efficient and friendly. Food comes super fast, fresh and PIPING HOT!! Highly recommend, will 100% be back..

Went last Saturday with my girlfriend and honestly what a night. We got seated by the window which was a lovely touch, and the atmosphere was spot on, great music, really nice vibe. Our server Anna was brilliant, super attentive without being over the top, couldn’t fault her at all. Food came out really quickly too which was a bonus. We went for the triple pepperoni and the Cinghiale and both were absolutely phenomenal. Genuinely think this is the best pizza in Brighton, and I don’t say that lightly. Easy 10/10, we’ll definitely be back.

I had the best experience during my visit! Our host Enrique was a total legend, making the night fun and welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was spot on, making it a perfect night out. The service was impeccable; they checked in with us and offered dessert without being pushy. I’ve had a lot of pizza in my life, but I don’t think I’ve had a better pizza than this.
The smokiness from the slight edge char in just one spot, the thinness of the base, the pillowy outside crust, it was heaven.
And then there is the place on a Saturday evening, packed with people and the vibe making you feel like you’re alive.

Ordered two pizzas to take away, super attentive service, gave us personal recommendations and told us of popular options as well. Pizza itself was super fresh and ready nice and fast as you expect for proper pizza. Taste was incredible, we absolutely loved both pizzas, and the garlic dip was fantastic. We will be back for dine in soon!
