Awesome small town diner. The food, service, and prices are superb. We come to Murray about twice a year to visit the grandkids and always stop in for some great food. The service is super, if you are a local or visiting, make sure to stop in and eat. The catfish on Friday was off the charts

I’m in town from Chicago visiting my mother and she suggested we come here because my picky toddler loves pancakes. I’m so glad we did! The country fried steak special was to die for with the homemade sides. The absolute star of the show for me is the coconut cake. The waitress said her grandma makes all the dessert and things from scratch. I will definitely be going again before I head home, and I will be dreaming of this meal until my next visit down here. Family friendly, delicious home made food, excellent prices.

Small town diner with good food. It was a holiday and therefore crowded. I had a salad with chicken which wasn’t fancy, but made a good lunch. My husband had a Kentucky Brown sandwich which was huge. We took half of it home and shared the rest for lunch the next day. Their Chocolate pie which I took home to enjoy, tasted as close to my Granny’s recipe as I ever tasted. It was a nice restaurant and we may go back next time we are in Murray.

Great food, fantastic service, amazing location! Best patty melt and fried mushrooms I’ve ever had hands-down. Went here on a whim and we’re glad we did! Were treated like valued customers and our meals each cost only about $15, and that’s with a drink and appetizer! Will definitely be coming back here when in the area. If you choose to eat local, choose Rudy’s!

Missed an order. Paid for a whole piece of country ham and two biscuits, got one biscuit and and half a piece of ham. Ordered a piece of cake for my birthday and they said they had a piece and then sent me the wrong piece because they didn’t pull out the piece they had left. Not a good birthday experience.

Always a great experience here. The food is always good, the staff are nice, and the food is quick. Best lunch meat+3 place in town. I love that dessert is always an option as one of your three sides.

We normally enjoy eating at Rudy’s but tonight just was not a good day. Very few customers when we came in, order taken promptly (we ordered the meatloaf special). Several customers came in after us and received their food. After 35 minutes I finally asked the waitress could she check on our order (I wonder if she would have ever noticed we didn’t have our food). She came back and said they were working on it right now. Very obvious that our order was “lost”. No apology for the wait. Finally received food and it was cold!!! Never saw waitress again. I asked a different waitress for a box. Took food home so could heat it up. Definitely could tell that owner was not present and no one was in charge that cared.

I really wish it wasn’t 1.5 hrs away. This place is the best. I’ve never eaten better onion rings. The Reuben sandwich was excellent. My wife had a cheeseburger and coleslaw. She said the coleslaw was the best she’s tasted. Just bring a jacket! They keep it very cold inside!!!
