Anytime I get to come to Rudy’s when I’m in Albuquerque it’s a great trip! I love the entire Vibe of this place with its casual menu centered atmosphere. Even the smell of the place with the open pit smoking away is something I look forward to. The buttered new potatoes were a new feature for me this time around and I’m a big fan. I highly recommend the creamed corn, turkey and brisket to anyone who’s new.

I wasn’t sure what to expect but came here on recommendations of others. pleasantly surprised! Plenty of parking, short line, Friendly staff, and fresh cook food! all this at 5:30pm!!! The smell was heavenly and the place was clean! I got a bunch of things to take back home and did enjoy the smoked baked potato with meat!

Prime rib was tender and delicious, brisket was nicely smoked. If you like spicy the jalapeño sausage is very good. The cole slaw was bland ,but the potato salad and cream corn were good. The banana pudding is a must.

I love this place so much that I opt to have my birthday dinner here than at any fancy restaurant anytime. The barbecue is amazing and their sauce is the best around.
For dinner, I typically order the half-rack baby back ribs, half lb. Brisket moist, and can’t resist their cream corn! Ice tea fans will not be let down…their tea is the best in town and always fresh brewed, not overly sweet. I usually mix the sweet and unsweet teas, but that’s my taste preference.
For lunch, I definitely recommend their baked potatoes! 1 or 2 meat choices, or plain…all are great, and a fair deal if you want an inexpensive but barbeque craving-buster. They are actually huge… enough to save half for a light dinner later. Most of my favorite local Albuquerque barbecue restaurants are sadly gone now, but Rudy’s definitely fills the void for some great, smoky barbeque!

It’s affordable compared to other BBQ joints. They cut costs by not having a wait staff and the seating is all tables and benches. The line moves quickly and the food is good. Lots of variety too. Oh, and I got a 10% military discount.

Soooo good! ALWAYS good! Neve disappointed when we leave here. Lots of delicious meat. We had the moist brisket, turkey and ham. All of it was on point! People there are friendly and fast! Will definitely refer friends and family to Rudy’s!!

The food is great for the price. The brisket is well seasoned and tender. The pork ribs are surprisingly meaty. The Sissy sauce enhances the flavor of the meat. It’s a great place to come with friends and enjoy without feeling burdened of expenses.

First time at Rudy’s and I was so impressed! I stopped in for breakfast and tried the tacos, SO good. I love how you can customize them to your taste. I also had the banana pudding and it was pure deliciousness.
Everything was super reasonably priced too, which made it even better. I ended up grabbing another taco and a chocolate pudding to go because I had to give it a try!
The place was super clean, the vibe inside was really cute and fun, and the staff were all so friendly and helpful. I believe one of the gentleman who helped us out today at the restaurant was named Gabriel? Thank you Gabriel!! Definitely coming back to try lunch sometime soon. 10/10 recommend!

I’ve been going to Rudy’s for years and I’ve always loved it. They have tons of options and everything tastes great. They have huge baked potatoes if that’s your thing. They have good sides as well like bean salad and coleslaw. I highly recommend them!
